I like that there are different sizes to women, which is even more noticeable in te bathhouse.

"Bioware body" is certainly something that they should trash in future games, yes. It's nice when people are actually shaped like people, and the world isn't populated by fit, stacked senior citizens.

elves have gotten worse in each DA game, first one I could get someone decent created, DAI, not one that I can create that looks heroic and badass

the worst are the male elf Inquisitor that have twisted arms....euk

I don't mind that elves are tiny. I am an adult, but the closest body type in a video game that represents me is Ellie from The Last of Us.... so yeah. However, I do love games that have different body types, that way there is something for everyone. I love Saint's Row for doing that and there are a lot more games that are allowing varying body types.

I won't lie, I am not exactly on top of programming, so I don't know how easy/hard it would be to implement that in DA, but I hope in future games try can work something out that allows that function.

I much prefer the Witcher's elf design. They don't look like malnourished teenagers.

Also they wear shoes.

The elves in Witcher 3 looked great.

Especially the Aen Elle, they looked terrifying and badass.

I agree on the elves, definitely prefer the ones in Witcher 3 to the sickly, broken armed elves in DAI.

In the Tower of Mice quest in Witcher 3 has anyone

Da hell.

Did they actually design this and thought it was cool?

As far as armor goes they would have to completely redo how they design stuff, ie: bits of armor would have to be broken up into smaller bits, each bit with variables like size and new points that attach to the skeleton of the customized character. They would have to remove the ability to make a fat character as well, if simply to prevent clipping issues in cutscenes.

It's definitely doable, but would increase their workload considerably. On the other hand for The Witcher 3 they had to make 1 piece of armor and they're done. That said they've already accepted a larger workload than CDPR simply by having both male and female options, and then DAI had 3 different heights between human-elf/dwarves/qunari. So it isn't something they couldn't figure out, just more work.

Yeah, I get that TW3 had an easier time with body models than DAI. In this instance I wasn't comparing the two. I know it's different making NPC vs PC.

I was just saying it is nice to even see different body types in a game. Usually it's fit or really heavy and the latter is usually set for older peeps.

Varying body types is just something I can really appreciate and would love to see it implemented in all games that allow you to customize your PC.

I wanted to ask those who finished the game, can you tell me, without spoiling obviously, how hard is it to get the good ending ?

I really want to get it on my first try but, knowing Witcher, I am nervous I won't be able to get it.

Depends on what you think is a good ending. There are 3 different epilogues, and one of them is a "bad" one. The other 2 are both quite positive, it's a matter of discussion, which one of those two is better.

I would argue that it's harder to get the bad epilogue, than one of the good ones.

There's a bunch of side quests and small decisions in main quests that affect the ending.

You can say, that choices leading to epilogue are a bit like choosing the Divine in Inquisition. By that I mean that you never make any obvious choice, but rather your dialogue with important characters and some important decisions indirectly affect the outcome.

The "best" ending depends on one dialogue choice, as far as I can tell. I missed it completely and got the "second best" ending, which strikes me as a better ending anyway.

Sadly I believe so. I hope that one day Bioware will at least fix the broken arms. Poor guy stuck with boobs and a broken arm.

It's funny that we're wearing the prisoner robes or something of that sort in Skyhold. It was supposedly a bug yet they have not decided to patch that out (correct me if I'm mistaken please someone).

Can you change that a bit? I tried to think of examples but in that context I couldn't think of something comparable without inventing a new phrase.

That's a lot nicer than the current quote I even edited.. It just seems wrong. There are people who actually use that phrase against wheelchair users or disabled persons.

Wow I'm a nerd.
