Now, that really made whine like a sad puppy. I really liked the look of that gear.If anything else, even just for collection

Have you seen the wolf gear yet? That is my favorite. I think it looks really good. After the wolf gear, I like the Griffon. I just think the look of it is awesome.

Btw, just checked...

If you mean the witcher gear you start the game with then no you can't make it again and you can only upgrade it the one time. Many like it tho and have asked for a fully upgradable set with that look so maybe we'll get it later.

The best looking armors imo is the starting one and the Ursine set.

This is the base ursine one (found in Skellige):

My favourite armour is actually the Cidarian cavalry armour. Too bad its pretty awful.

I think someone involved with Witcher 3 has been on holiday to Devon or Cornwall, I came across bandits who called Geralt a "Grockle" which is a derogatory slang term used specifically in Devon & Cornwall to describe a tourist... LOL

Still waiting for the patch 1.07 to drop on PSN Europe, although some say the patch is not good anyway. At least CDPR are communicating with their fans on their forum etc...

Off topic: Gave up trying to play Batman Arkham Knight, my fingers don't work well enough (and unlike some people I don't believe in camping out on forums demanding pause function LOL) so traded it in got £32 back on it which I used towards Elder Scrolls Online which I am told can be played as a single player game and is again more populated than DAI.

I really liked ESO and still play it off and on and can vouch for that.

Very little of the game (dungeons and PvP) do you need anyone else to do it.  There is a lot of content if you just want to play it like a single player game and even with bad reflexes you can do PvP just fine. You can be a healer or buy siege gear and hammer at keep walls or go around the battlefield with soul gems and rez people. And the groups are large enough that even if you aren't good or slow to react there are more than enough people around to make up for it. I learned how to heal inside PvP without any trouble. A lot of healing in PvP is just assuming people will be damaged so you see a battle going on, cast your healing spells on the ground or spam a few choice spells that auto target the lowest health people. It really is a team effort PvP map and that means people with bad reflexes can still contribute in a meaningful way to the battle.

Yes the original gear rules them all. I just hope they would allow me the upgrade them for better status.

ESO is an good single player RPG rather than MMO. Still remeber my lv10 dark elf thief to finish the outlevel vampire quest...

That was a crazy fun way to turn a player rather than just getting a bite and letting time go by. Too bad you can never go back to the den, I figured it would be like a player home down there. I did my vamp quest at level and it was too easy then, I should have tried it earlier for some fun!

It is fun when any enemy in that mission could one hit kill PC.  But rest of ESO is a disaster for MMORPG. Bethesda really needs to put more effort into next ES.

There are to many threads floating around now though. This one started it and it has been a source of great feedback. Though i kind of get why people are abit upset. On the CDRP forums there are no one advocating for Dragon Age over there, or any RPG for that matter. It feels like the community here is shoving The Witcher at alot of people. Not saying this thread in particular, but its influence has spread and the debate is more wildfire now than earlier. I can understand both sides of it.

I really wish that Bioware was abit more active here and actually posted in threads like these, and closed the ones that are obviously just made for trolling.

I've said it before and I say it again, we are all DA fans here. Whether we like all 3 games or not, we are still fans. We're not here just to annoy DA fans, we are here because some of us are really disappointed with DAI and TW3 does a lot of things right, things that those people wanted to see in DAI (like it has been said over and over again, better sidequests, more cutscenes, worlds that feel alive, a city to explore, etc.) so it's only natural those people will create threads about it. We see the same threads being created every week or so. I followed these forums when DAI first came out and sometimes there were 3 threads discussing the same thing on top of the forum, so it annoys me a bit because when someone dares to make a TW3 thread they are instantly murdered.

Maybe there aren't any people advocating for DAI on CDPR's forums because TW fans are quite happy with TW3 and simply don't think DAI is better. Like I said, everyone here played DAI and most, if not all, are DA fans, we're not just some random TW fanboys/fangirls like a certain group of people like to call us just because we prefer TW3 over their favorite game.

But anyway, I'm done with this topic.

I finished TW2 (it was surprisingly good, although some things annoyed the hell out of me) and I'm starting my second TW3 playthrough and I already found one quest that I missed on my first one. And I tried to explore every inch of the worlds on my first one! I'm also trying to choose differently when it comes to big decisions (both in main and side quests) and wow, the joys of having a game worth of replaying. There are some choices though that I know I won't be able to choose differently (like letting a certain spirit go free because I know what happens if I do).

I liked swtor more I think. The class quests are really well done. Very good bioware writing there right there.

Anyway lets get back on topic guys.

Same! I like the griffin stats because I use signs a lot, but there's something in its appearance that I don't like, it seems too tight. I also like the first stage of the feline gear and I used it a bit on my first playthrough so Geralt could show off his guns. lol But I'll probably go with the wolf gear again. One thing I don't like is how the wolf gear starts at level 14 but you have to go to Kaer Morhen to search for the diagrams and you only go there once you're level 20 or something. :\

Good attitude, enjoy your game. TW3 has its faults but DAI is simply not in the same league regarding to its overall quality and storytelling. The eternal battle in CDPR's forum is more focusing on  Triss vs Yenna, bugs, more end game content, lack of wild hunt explanation, rushed Act 3 etc.

A good comparison from a DA fan. Although I think TW3 is still far better in environmental and characters.

Just a heads up, there are some spoilers as he plays clips from later stages of the game.

Eh I disagree with him on the open world bit. The Witcher is leagues ahead with the fact that the world isn't entirely populated by statue-people.

just monsters who likes to lick you with their long creepy tongues :-p God I hated that quest because the whole sequence is scary. Like the Tower of Mice, I wanted to close my eyes, good thing I didn't or I'd have missed that epic kiss.

I was dying a lot yesterday but discovered the quest I was trying to do was a bit high so gone to the island to do some starter quests. I don't usually like mmos at all but it looks good and so far having fun and not been pvp'd by anyone, really hate being attacked in mmos by douches about ten or fifteen levels above me. LOL.

I will go back to Witcher today though to see how the patch has affected the game.

I seriously doubt at this point that I will go back to DAI at all, just the thought of how empty the world is.... and the cost of the dlc is way too high for what you get. I will see how I feel if and when these big story expansions Bioware have promised drop, but if they are more empty areas filled with meaningless fetch quests and carboard npcs then I won't bother with those either.

I stopped and uninstalled DAI as soon as I go to hinterland in 2nd run through. Enough is enough, especially when the stupid hunter ask me for another 10 ram meat.

And yesterday, this was the first quest sought after helping Mother Giselle at the Crossroads. Funny how an optional side quest can mean varied things to varied Players....

Relax Elhanan, it's his prerogative. Unless you get overly bothered by opinions and playstyles of other people for whatever reason. ;)

I find it a tad amusing that someone will take their toys and go home after encountering optional side content. Personally would have been a bit let down if the character titled Hunter had asked me to inform me of something outside their realm of experience.

Getting that 10 ram meat is not really awefully bad, tis just blindly spamming varric's crossbow skill ~10x. To me the main problem with that quest though is ... that quest makes no sense. Ok, so they cant render that many refugee on screen but that I'd assume there are lots of refugees there. 10 rams? Errr.... I simply dont see how would that be sufficient. If the quest designer would hove someone ask me to clear out some bandits to clear a path for supplies or simply arrange for supplies to get there, it would make more sense. 10 ram meat and some blankets... and it will get them through the cold? It feels really amateurish.

Even worse... me the Herald needs to go hunt 10 rams... myself.  <_< Why cant I ask scout Harding to send someone to handle that - they are literally parked next to the refugee camp.
