I still believe that the guy responsible for the Golden Halla quest should be sacked.

And yesterday, this was the first quest sought after helping Mother Giselle at the Crossroads. Funny how an optional side quest can mean varied things to varied Players....

Players don't know the quest is optional the first time they play it. I have explained this to you before. The player has no idea how many power points he might need later on, to unlock the man story. And since the Devs blatantly lied and told us each area would be heavy on story based quests and whatnot, the Ram Meat quest could have branched out into a larger story. I didn't. But the player doesn't know that until after he has done it.

Might have missed the part where it was the 2nd playthrough. No lies, and thankfully no long involved cut-scenes.

LOL - that is one silly "quest". If you can call it a quest.

Welp, even Golden Halla is not safe from the mighty Inquisitor

I like the feline gear because it is light armor and I use signs a lot, and it looks very cool with Geralt showing his biceps lol

the ursine gear does look the coolest, I especially like how his hair looks like with that armor, though if I'm not mistaken that armor is heavy right? :(

I really wouldn't have minded collecting those ram meats so much but at the end of the day, those people would still be there standing there exactly where they are at the end of the game, healthy as a horse if you don't fetch them those meat.

As opposed to the generated NPC's that appear in TW3 to create the illusion of a static population. Both are games; both use mechanics of illusion to simulate reality.

And I have yet to wait until the end of the day without helping the refugees; prefer the feedback that is given, as well as the Agents.

So if a quest is optional (aren't almost all side-quests optional? lol what a ridiculous excuse) it's ok if it is awful and lazy?

it's amazing the low stardards of some people. They have such low standards that when they see something that is actually good and doesn't insult their intelligence they think is bad lol.

Quests like that are really stupid and lazy, surely I could just get Josephine to buy them some food, or just get some of the many soldiers the inquisition has to go kill some goats.

I'm supposed to be the only person in the world that has the ability to stop the unlimited number of demons spewing onto Thedas, I've got better things to do.

You mean the REAL re-population in TW3? As opposed to the one that was just in your head about DAI having the same? Yes, I'd prefer that, thank you very much.

And by the way isn't everything in any video game "generated"? What even is your point? That dai does it better?

Can accept a difference in standards; reason I pass on TW3, as I prefer higher ones myself.

But when one knows that the quest is there, heads back to it, and QQ because they did not skip it, escape from it, or simply choose not to accept it, that is somewhat bewildering; amusing even....

As the Hunter mentions, the Inquisition is the only group to help; one seems to assume that the aid stops with the supplied meat. It does help to pay attention to the content and context rather than assume.

And as far as priories, kinda thought it was the people, but then again, my Inquisitor's do not believe they are above their plight....

Someone wanna fill me in on what exactly Elhanan's deal is? I've been trying to lurk on this thread but I'm honestly confused as to what their personal reason for hating the Witcher is. As far as I can tell it seems to be something along the lines of "Witcher sux because I'm offended by bewbs/violence/harsh language". Either that or "Witcher sux because I can't be ____ (i.e. All games must have custom protagainists or they suck). "

Cannot rage quit aver a game one never plays. And cannot quit a thread when one continues to post. But then, I am not that into the internet slang, esp when it deals with MMO origins; avoided the chat in SWTOR, too.

As for OT, it could be nice to have patches to make inventory weightless, except of course when it has already been implemented....

I was dying a lot yesterday but discovered the quest I was trying to do was a bit high so gone to the island to do some starter quests. I don't usually like mmos at all but it looks good and so far having fun and not been pvp'd by anyone, really hate being attacked in mmos by douches about ten or fifteen levels above me. LOL.

I will go back to Witcher today though to see how the patch has affected the game.

I seriously doubt at this point that I will go back to DAI at all, just the thought of how empty the world is.... and the cost of the dlc is way too high for what you get. I will see how I feel if and when these big story expansions Bioware have promised drop, but if they are more empty areas filled with meaningless fetch quests and carboard npcs then I won't bother with those either.

You are safe from gankers in ESO unless you are in Cyrodiil. Other factions can't even get to you unless you are in the Cyrodiil map. The way the story works is you pick a faction, it sends you zone to zone doing quests until you hit Coldharbour. Quest there as normal and after finishing that map you get to do one of two things, Cadwells silver, followed by Cadwells Gold or Craglorn. Save Craglorn for after Cadwells Gold, Craglorn you will need a party for the quests but by then I'm sure you'll have met a handful of people you like.

But anyway Cadwells Silver and Cadwells Gold take you to the lands of opposing factions and it is scaled a lot higher because it was meant to be played after you finish the main quest. So your factions level 1-10 zone is another factions vet rank 1-2 and the third factions vet rank 5-6. So there are 3 different Morrowind maps all scaled to the correct level for the correct faction. No possible way for enemy players to even see you, let alone gank you. The only place for people to see and attack you is in Cyrodill and you can't stumble into that zone, you have to specifically que into the area.

Though I hear that the Imperial City has a PvP and PvE area mixed together so you may wish to look for reviews before buying that DLC.

Money Making Tip: Steal your daily fill and fence it! Then put points into being able to fence more and more per day, hands down the fastest way to make gold in the game!

Pretty much the same with much more colourful names for W3, like "putrid" and a lot more that spans over 200 pages.

All of that plus he won't play it till they add a pause function... got to have a pause function, no bewbs, no bad language oh and no peasants actually bring peasants. He also hates that you don't have a party to go around with you. The fact that he has never played the game to see anything for himself is besides the point... He is a troll who is so desperate for attention it's actually a little sad, all he seems to live for is trolling this thread ...

To clarify: TW3 may or may not be a terrific RPG, but is still one I am unwilling to play due to a lack of Pause functionality, and includes ESRB materials that are not easily avoided. DAI does not need to go this route,, IMO.

And I do not mind a set PC; have played them in DA2 and several in NWN1 mods, but prefer choices when possible. Comprehension is a skill best practiced to avoid such miscommunication....

Basically this:

1- Bored

2- fanboy

3- Bored

4- fanboy

any fanboy gets salty whenever his favorite toy gets put in question, plus he is bored because he hasn't played TW to give us valid feedback so most of the time he has no point and says nothing at all.

it's a toxic combination

I just find his posts completely irrelevant because I usually don't take into consideration someone's opinions on something they have no experience with

tumblr_llaz7wtWxk1qictvto1_400.gif

I asked why the Inquisiton's soldiers or the Inquisition's ambassador couldn't help in securing the food, so I'm not sure how this goes against what the hunter said. The inquisitor is the only person on the planet capable of stopping the infinite number of demons spewing into Thedas, s/he has better things to do than personally hunt for food.

Ah yes but you don't have to play that part of the game... whereas according to him you do have to in W3... ;) Oh and he also closes his eyes to the ratings and warnings are identical on the boxes for both games! So his argument is invalid and basically his view of DAI is totally headcannon and even relies on him leaving party members benched to avoid the odd swear word...

Personally got so bored of him banging on and on ad nauseum about the same things just to try to derail the thread I have him on ignore, he is the only person I have ever done that with.

Am a 'fanboy', as Bioware has merited my allegiance with high quality products for almost two decades. But am hardly bored, as I have a current DAI and DAA campaign, a set of full class saves for ME3, and try and keep NWN1 up to date for PW visits. And then there is Skyrim, and SkyWind and XCOM: Long War when the mods are finally completed.

But then, assumption is common to many....
