I don't see why it even matters if those free dlc were made in conjunction with the game or not. Who cares? They're free. Those dlc are pretty good, they could have easily cut them from the game, bundled a few together and sold them for about $4-5.00 a piece, like some other companies do. As someone said, they get some publicity and we get freebies. Win-win. People need to build a bridge and mosey on over it. 

Yeah, it isn't exactly the big evil corporate scheme that people seem to want it to be.

This gear is so cool. I think ursine and wolf are the best looking armors in the game.

I'm actually still in doubt if I want to use Ursine or wolf school gear

Wolf gear is definitely my favorite. I like the Feline armor that has the short sleeves, I believe it's the first set.

Use both! Wolf gauntlets and boots looks great with Ursine armor and pants.

- they expect to support the game with patches and upgrades for two years (at least)

- there MAY be an Enhanced Edition coming at some point (he's not promising anything though)

- they felt bad about the PC downgrade and they wanted to make up for it (basically, every patch since the launch has been partly concentrated on further enabling the PC version to look better and better and run better)

- they need to make games for all three platforms - PC sales are about 1/3 of their total sales. No consoles = much less money to sink into making a game

- they're primarily concentrated on the PC (as they come purely from a PC background), they expect 4k gaming soon, but they want to make sure their console version are at least "good enough"

Indeed. They really go through extra mile for the fans. I think they are really happy people are receiving their hard work well and want to give some back to them.

Let's hope their tone is not going to change when they get much bigger. And let's hope EA stays away from them.

Wow. Those are impressive DAI play through times. I think I got to 85 hours before desperately wanting it to end and not being able to take the boring zones anymore. I can't imagine tripling my time on one play through.

Also kudos to CDPR for the free DLC. These would have been $5 a piece (aside from maybe the new game plus and the killing animations which would be shocking to charge for and not just patch them in). While I am not much of a CDPR fan, it seems to me showing customers appreciation has always been a core part of their value system. You can't really hate on them since they didn't need to bother giving free content at all. I doubt they added many sales due to a free outfit or quest that they wouldn't have had already with the base game.

I would have loved that so much in DA3 considering I feel like NG+ would make the game so much nicer to explore different options maybe play with a few settings in the dragon age keep to see different dialogue and what not pop up in the game.

 

OT but DAIMP is actually pretty fun with friends. Especially when we run into "OH NO we pulled extra!" situations. "Goddangit Helen.." X_X TW3 could benefit from somene's online gwent idea

Didn't they say before that NG+ was not in their immediate cards? It seems like they have gave in to the fans and worked on it instead of whatever dlc they had in mind for the 16th.

Who knows, that supposed 16th dlc might end up a 17th for free too

      If they do... I probably will have to spent 600 bucks next year to upgrade ma video card to the new Pascal or AMD equivalent next year. Cos the graphics will be insanely awesome

If 3 gets a enhanced edition i wanna see how it plays with pascal and new intel processors. I do not see many rpgs surpassing witcher 3 anytime soon. bioware cant, beth has terrible writers. So basically till cyberpunk 2077 comes i do not expect decent rpgs coming out.
