Where the Cat and the Wolf play (name right?) was excellent. Just curious...

Also, just finished the Battle of Kaer Morhen for the second time, I forgot how gut punching and amazing that quest is. Too many feels in my feels.

Thing is one thing to note which the games fail at is that witcher potions also make a witcher bloodlusted. The cat school witcher had potions active before he got forked by the mayor and his mob. Infact Geralt can comment that blood contained witcher potion in it.
Problem was we as a player never feel it but im quite certain its clearly there in the books that Geralt became bloodlusted after he took a witcher potion.

I really like the new look of the mutagens, especially the monster ones. Wonder why they chose to change them, anyone know?
I was so happy when I saw it. Now I can finally see what kind of mutagen they are without having to highlight every single one. I think that was the reason they gave them different looks, right? Like the greater mutagens look different from the lesser, etc. The other day I crafted a greater mutagen to put it on my skill tree and I had so many mutagens in my inventory that it took me a while to find the little sucker because they all looked the same. Unless there was an easier way to distinguish them that I don't know about. lol Either way, CDPR always improving these little things. Bless them!

Yeah...it is an interesting quest. Not my favorite. I sort of gave that family their worst possible outcome ;-)
I recently did something on Skellige that I really liked. "Possession" =).
@TommyServo
That was one of my favorite quests.

To your first question:Anna asked the crones and they fulfiilled her wish
To your second question: Don't think that's the case. The crones are not human. maybe they were at some point, but that was centuries ago (it's said they are ancient)

Yes I feel for Tamara but the baron, he made his bed a long time ago.
Spoiler
The Baron is a colossal ******, it's true, but Anna was by no means exactly innocent in all that. The Baron spoke of how no one knew what buttons to push with him like she did, and she jabbed at those buttons all the time. Granted she was in a miserable marriage, it's true, and she likely had a lot of reason to push those buttons. It was just a bad marriage all around. Fantastic freaking quest though.

Maybe, but I do think he was seeking true redemption.
God I love this quest.

He was definitely likable - like I said, I cracked towards him toward the end. But compartmentalizing that likability away, there's nothing defensible about any of his actions (apart from conscripting my help in finding his family, I guess, so I can at least attempt to do the right thing by them).
ETA: His interaction with Ciri is obviously beyond reproach - it's hard not to root for him in those flashbacks. Makes his treatment of his family all the more disappointing.

ation or, failing that, sadness and separation. You don't murder your rival and imprison your wife in an abusive marriage. Or if you do, you don't expect people to feel sorry for you.

Free DLC? You mean like all the MP DLC and the BlackEmporium for example?
Stop comparing the two, you can like both, like neither, or just prefer one more but still play the other. Let it go.
I can't believe this comment got so many likes, the multiplayer is a freemium/pay2win tagged on, it gets "free" content to nickel and dime you, earning things without paying real world money is suppose to be a monotonous process to make you spend real world money.

It's a legit observation. I hear some people seem to like the MP. If it's anything like the ME3 MP, then you're definitely able to progress without distasteful RMT. Sadly, I found it to be nothing like ME3 MP, in that ME3 MP was fun.
They could refrain from adding a MP mode to the next DA game, for sure. But I doubt that will happen.
I think its about time someone made a proper recap of the Baron's story before Geralt's arrival. So often do I see people get the facts of the the questline's story off so I'll try my best to get sum it up right. Feel free to correct me:
Thank you for this. I'm not surprised I got some of the details wrong (this is my first time through the game).

It is considerably easier to balance FPS multiplayer game mechanics, the core mechanics are practically universal across the board which is why many got more enjoyment from ME3 multiplayer.
You can progress but the hours mandated to do so are balanced out around the money making aspect and not actual fun which is a core element of free2play.
