I'm not reallly fond of Triss or Yennefer tbh.
I'll wait patiently for the Radovid romance dlc.

I really like the two new dwarves hanging out with you. I do like some of the scenery too, though I have never been a Deep Roads fan, even back in Origins--so I am sure that is coloring me a little biased. I wish the Shrieks didn't feel like reskins of the Harlequins. I don't know, at times it feels like I am playing Horde mode instead of a dlc. It has a different feel to it that I am not liking and I think that is taking away from anything it may have to offer. I haven't completed it yet, though. I may have different insight once I do.
I think the female dwarf is actually really cute. But yeah..it does feel like a Horde mode, especially at two certain points. I've always liked the Deep Roads, but there are a couple places a little further down that are absolutely gorgeous I have to admit.
Oh... and the moon likes bald
And the scruffy beard.
If your king doesn't have a beard you've got two queens.
Take note Nilfgaard.
Yennefer's VA is more plesant to listen to. And classically prettier face to look at. Well actually everything about her is more fetching imho.
Also I think her scenes are better and more flattering. The whole family dynamic with Geralt, Ciri and Yen works a LOT better.
Agree with her va and purdyness. However, since my Geralt seems to get jolted even after 2 dump trucks full of sweet talkings dumped on her, I've decided he will be single after all.Yennefer's VA is more plesant to listen to. Good to see another likes to do some advanced research before spending their funds. Although I differ in the conclusion, I understand it, and still apply the same right as an informed consumer to skip on titles that I will likely not enjoy.

I went with this too. All they do is use and abuse him. Geralt deserves someone loving, someone who cares.

That is why we dont have Kings or Queens in Milfgaard. We have an Emperor too rule over them.

Since I can only pick up the lilt of their voices, I can't debate which voice is more pleasant, but classically more pretty? Perhaps. Yen is gorgeous, there is no doubt. . Yen is more ethereal and Triss is more earthly and wild. Yen carries too much drama and fussiness. Always nagging and bossing Geralt about. I feels like--
If you want bumpity time for the rest of your life, go with Triss. If you want to do all the cleaning up and errands for the rest of your life, go with Yen. ![]()
Seriously, though, I agree about the family dynamic. It is suited better for those three, imo. I am romancing Yen this go round and I have noticed she isn't as bad as I first assumed and I do like her, but she can never replace Lil'Red. Triss, Geralt and Johnny will live happily ever after as a family and Yen will just have to find someone else to do her bidding.

You and Moon are killing me.
Most of us do advanced research for our purchases. I watch tons of footage of gameplay and listen to reviews unless I have extreme confidence in a series (like I did for DAI, but sadly it didn't live up to the standards of past games). I bought the witcher because so many elements seemed overwhelming good and word of mouth was amazing.
Nobody criticizes you for that, it's smart shopping. The key difference is that, if I refuse to try something, I don't insult it on a forum when others suggest it's better then a product I enjoy - how can I if I've never actually played it?
It's like comparing a dish you've eaten to one you refuse to try. The one you assume is awful might very well be, but you'll never know unless you try it for yourself. In this case you refuse to try the new dish while insisting the old one is superior and using reasons often based on incorrect or outdated information.
It's quite possibly the best rpg of the past 10 years, you really should try it, or at least stop insulting it and insisting DAI is better when you'll never truly know.
Give it up Saphiron, he doesn't get it, we have tried to explain it to him for over 300 pages, please stop feeding the troll if he gets zero attention be will hopefully get the message. Plus those of us who do have him on ignore so we aren't forced to suffer his garbage and insults end up having to read it when people quote him as they try in vain to get through to him. Also if we are taking part in Tommy's drinking game you will kill our livers if you keep feeding the troll... LOL

Well technically he is King of Cintra... so Cintra has two queens... ![]()

An honest typo...

The Descent, like many of Dragon Age's DLC story, all feels like one big elaborate teaser trailer that leaves more questions than answers in the most frustrating way possible. I'm not against the "More questions than answers" outcome but this DLC just feels so shallow.
Like with DA2's Mark of the Assassin DLC, the story treats the guest characters like the main characters and you the player as their sidekick with no say on the outcome.
On the topic of soundtrack, I felt that DAI's soundtrack sounded so generic.
I wish CDPR made Fringilla Vigo more of main cast character than a late-game supporting cast one.
Not only is she interesting and smart, she's also apparently really hot and the owner of the "best ass in the world" - in Geralt's words.
Would probably made for quite good material since she and Geralt had a two month love affair.

Fringlla got an Toussaint expansion for her and Geralt to enjoy. I would like to see the reaction from Yenna. The two most important women (arch enemy to each other as well) for Geralt come together...
Have fun storming the castle!
What does that even mean? ![]()

Yenna did turn her best friend into minced meat.
Funny thing about Yennefer and Triss. Yen is the one true love of Geralt in my opinion and I'll always choose her, but I also like Triss very much. I always thought of her as the sweet girl and complete opposite of Yen. I just finished my second playthrough am while I'm waiting for the NG+ I'm trying to read all the books. I'm almost finishing the Blood of Elves and I'm not sure how I'm feeling about Triss now.
Yenna did turn her best friend into minced meat.
Yen gets blinded and a black'un dies.
A win-win situation if ever I've seen one.
