True, but again, I wish they would support it and not release patches that made modders go crazy because they would render the mods unusable.
Plus the mods out now are very limited and require you to use a programme to override files etc, though I'm still so thankful for all those amazing modders that worked so hard.
Every patch WoW mods have to go through a new update, heck, after the patch gets applied there's a reminder message that says that you may have to update your mods. And I think WoW supports mods. It's a slightly different type, as it's game enhancement for various things (there's a mod that highlights the best skills to use as the combat progresses), but the base concept is the same.
As I understand it, Bioware only officially supported mods during NWN and some DAO, as both had the toolsets released. But unofficially, people have been modding the hell of of the games since BG.
If this whole thing for Fallout 4 works, maybe Bioware will follow suit. They know they've got a large modding community, and if the Fallout model seems to work and can be adapted for BW, who knows.
