I suck at gwent no matter what I do and I seriously hate the merchants with Monster or Scoi'tel decks.
But... they're the easiest...
Just Biting frost and fog their asses.

Witcher 3 priscilla song was more authentic and real sounding unlike da:i studio mix the dawn will come.

In my game, at least, it had super awkward skips between every verse.
It was pretty good. Miles better than Dandelion's awful, awful bard songs in TW1 (I don't remember if there were any in TW2). But Dawn Will Come has its own hokey charm depending on your perspective (I liked it a lot the first time through, though I wouldn't mind the ability to skip it on subsequent playthroughs).
Unfortunately, she's no match for the bard and her songs in DAI. Truth.

Personally, I thought the Dawn Will Come scene was pretty awesome. At least it really felt like it was the Voice Actors of the characters that were singing, unlike Lelian's song in DA:O. Plus the whole mise-en-scène was pretty well made. But Priscilla's song was wonderful too.

I found it cringeworthy tbh. Really wish I could skip it. ![]()
Speaking of songs, I wanna see Iorveth and his flute song make a return.

Here's hoping reports are wrong.
I remember reading a tweet from CDPR confirming Iorveth and Saskia were still around so rest easy =p
You monster..!
p.s. I love our political campaigns hah.
I just got out of White Orchard, and before the spoiler tags.. I play like a tortoise.
Can someone tell me how to succeed at Gwent? I'm awful.
Only trick I can think to offer in the begging is try to get some spies into your deck. Then, in the first round, if you draw them, use them. Your opponent will usually pass after the first one. Then, hopefully you got a blizzard card in your hand, use that, and then its really easy to take that first round.
Where you will really start to run into trouble is when you play against monster decks. *groans* Ohh I have bad memories of those.
Meh, same thing
*runs like hell*
I've always been terrible with accents, thanks for the correction
Lol, I thought it was odd that Skellige people had Irish accents. Were they not supposed to be more along the lines of vikings? Or where ancient Irish similar to the way they were portrayed in the game? I'm not well versed in Irish history.

Yeah until they drop a card that pulls back a previously played card and they do the whole thing over again.

Everyone that I play seems to have the maximum number of scorch cards per hand as well as cards that draw about four other cards from their deck. Doesn't matter if I use weather cards I still can't win so frustrating. I suck nearly as bad at Gwent as I did at that stupid dice poker in W2.

Edit: I have just played Haddy three times in a row and each time he has had multiple scorch cards, lvl 10 hero cards and nothing below level 7 oh and he gets multiple handshake cards two just two of those and a horn card and he was up to 64 points! The little sod is impossible to beat!

I was freaking embarrassed and I'm a huge fan of Leliana's singing In Uthenera in Dragon Age Origins. It's one of my favorite moments in gaming ever (with the awkward lipsync and everything).
But jfc, that singing moment in DAI made me want to hide my face. I don't know why it didn't work for me like In Uthenera (Leliana's song) and The Wolven Storm (Priscilla's song) did. Maybe because there was no emotional build up, I felt no attachment to my advisors/party or even to my inquisitor, the vibe of that game was too happy and shiny for me, so in the end I didn't feel that contrast of a beautiful song being sang together with a gritty tough universe. Plus the song itself was whatever.
When Cullen close his eyes I just start laughing.
Playing it on ps4 after many deaths on death march I'm starting to realize these load times are worse than bloodborne at launch. Bloodborne/souls games you expect to die a lot initially learning the game but the 1-2minute load times are real in TW3...
Eeesh, I just gotta get gud or something.

I always feel under qualified to talk about sound tracks or songs in-game because of my hearing impairment, but Leliana singing in DAO killed me. Her face was the most awkward thing I have ever seen and I laughed through the entire thing.
I really loved the Dawn will come moment in DAI, but I love cheesy stuff, so that accounts for taste lol. However, as much as I loved it--I lol'd when Cullen started singing. His face was a trip. I loved the moment, though.

I play on Xbox One and while the load times seem long, I don't think they are a full minute or two. Dang.
It's very bad for load times on PS4 and I don't wanna be that guy but sometimes you can see stuttering mid combat which could cost you the difference between a successful dodge or not.
I'm a console peasant, but I have very good pc's that could probably run the game a lot smoother. It's just I prefer console for games that can be played on console and use the PC for pc only games.
I wish I knew when the extra Triss dialog was coming out. I really want to start a new playthrough, but I would hate to get close to the end and the content be released. A friend suggested they would release it with the upcoming dlc in October. I love how they release stuff when they feel it's ready and not before, but I want it now. ![]()
CDPR is one of the last defenders of our PC master race, hence play its games on PC is the way to go.
Might be worth buying this game twice then. ![]()

Clearly the solution is to become a member of European college master race.
