Oh he was absolutely a fool.  During that last fight he just stands there and watches you kill his dragon.  The dragon that he has invested a piece of himself so that he can keep coming back after being killed.  I would think he would place a lot of importance on that thing.  But nope.

I did not see him at all; was expecting him to be tending his wounds by that point. And he did not expect another Dragon.

Oh I agree, some of the darker outcomes are dumb, just as you said some of the brighter ones were dumb.

The ones that I really enjoyed was where an outcome was darker, but might possibly have been the best thing to do for the sake of defeating the blight.  For instance 'A Paragon of her Kind', deciding whether or not to give Branka that anvil.  Sure, destroying the thing is probably the right thing to do, the creation of a golem is terrible.  But...golems are pretty danged wicked on the battlefield.  Worth probably about ten dwarves.  So giving her the anvil in a way is probably the best thing to do to help stop the blight.

Also....werewolves>than everything.   :D

There were a few of those in DA:O that I really liked.

See Branka to me was another dark choice that was stupid in some ways. She's insane. If you could keep the anvil without her then it'd make sense but just leaving the anvil with a woman who has proven herself insane? Madness. You're just asking for that to blow up in your face. (And it does with king abusing the ability to make golems and then Branka barricading herself in the deep roads). It'd been one thing if she had simply been cold and pragmatic  but she's a loon!

Eww werewolves. You're better off with the elves. They won't spread a plague afterwards :P

My favorite dark choices were mostly of the it's unfortunate but my PC feels there's no other solution. Like saying there's no way to know who's possessed with the mages and having them sent to Aeonar, or killing Conner because leaving him alone is foolish, or going along with Zatherian because you really need his aid or in the case of my dalish she saw her clan in his and raged at the werewolves.

"If I'm to choose between one evil and another, I'd rather not choose at all."

You chose the north. Men that are willing to rape and pillage their own towns just because they are bored!

No thanks, I've had enough sorceresses controlling kings to last a lifetime. :P

And you choose Nilfgaard, with an emperor that spent half of his life as a hedgehog.

The lodge needed to be culled IMO. I'm glad it happened in TW2.

Seriously, you would make a much better Inquisitor in DA:I, than any character I've ever created. You are putting all true inquisitors to shame. For realz. :P

I wish I could play as an inquisitor as good as Radovid, I could imagine it now.

Cassandra- "Tell me why we shouldn't kill you now. The conclave is destroyed, everyone who attended is dea. Except for you.

Inquisitor- "LUBDUBLUBDUBLUBDUBLUBDUB"

The arbor wilds quest would be ten times better.

I think I made my game way too dark on PS4 but I get similar lighting to dark. It's really well done.

I know it's been said that Bioware never did a Day Night cycle but I'd really love that feature, along with varied beast types depending on the day/night cycle.

Day/ Night was possible in the NWN engine; is used on the PW that I play occasionally. And the Devs said that they would look into it for future FB3 games.

Yenn romance master race.

Triss romance is weird. Totally screws up the family dynamics too. You're Ciri's father who's banging Ciri's big sister? Poor Ciri is probably freaked the hell out.

Meh, who cares? I go out of my way to make life miserable for blinky anyway, so maybe I should actually romance Drunk Dudu Triss.

I thought you'd rather romance Radovid?

I think even that option is better than Triss!

Well ofcourse, still waiting on the dlc. I mean Triss and Yen are both getting extra lines and the Radovid romance gets nothing!

There is a clear Yen/Triss bias on the writing staff. Makes my blood boil.

I don't care if he wasn't expecting another dragon.  And licking his wounds?  As long as that dragon is there he can die and come back as many times as he wants at full strength.  His dragon is his key to continued immortality.  To not be down there defending it is the absolute height of stupidity.

A plague of werewolves?  Where do I sign up?

And yeah, Branka's insane, but she's brilliant.  Fine line between genius and insanity after all.  :P  And you have no way of owing that the king is gonna be an idiot about it.  At least by then you've defeated the blight.  Unfortunate outcome but...the day is saved and all that.

And yeah, I liked the mage choice and the dalish choice as well.  Also thought the choice between Harrowmount and Bhelen for the dwarven king.  Harrowmount is the better person, but he is a staunch traditionalist and will hold the dwarves back as a race.  Bhelen was a SOB that murdered his brother, but he was progressive and will lead the dwarves to new heights.

That's every army.  No matter how high the ideals of the leaders, there are always going to be soldiers that have no problem pillaging and raping.
