I'm currently on my 3rd playthrough and decided to not use fast-travel as long as it's avoidable. Should have done so from the start as I found 8 additional quests or "happenings" so far, that I have missed in my previous two playthrought.

One of them was a sad little story

Spoiler

Did anybody else do that quest and decided to burn the corpes and could tell me about the outcome?

Yeah I found that quest and I burned the corpses. I haven't seen him again though. Where do you find the guy after anyway?

I don't remember exactly where it was. He was standing in front of a single hut in south-east Velen. I think east of Downwarren.

I accidentally stumbled into the Radovid fanclub thread on the official Witcher forums and now I've officially become a Radovid fan myself.

Also, I probably laughed at this a lot longer and harder than I should have...

He's really not a nice dude. Just listen to the shouters. Look how his own men leave him lying on the ground showing they have no loyalty. It's really not a good look. I can easily see him trying to make himself seem stronger by exploiting golems. (But I could see that of a lot of people which is why ultimately I'd trust that thing with no one).

If your referring to the criers, there was one for Harrowmont and one for Bhelen, each shouting loads of negative things about the other.  All of which I am pretty sure where all rumor mongering if not outright lies.  And as for his men leaving him lying on the ground, after he's dead I am assuming, well, there is a new king at that point, and no one wants to get on his bad side.  Loyalties have to shift at that point or they end up dead as well.

You know what?  I don't buy it.  It just hit me tonight, as I got insulted and taunted yet again by lowly peasants whose homes I had recovered from ugly evils.

Here's a guy with haunting cat eyes, who probably glows in the dark with a full-body halo, who can wipe out an entire village of the Great Unwashed in an eyeblink, and who keeps the counsel of grand sorcerers and kings.  Yet he's pushed around like a street beggar wherever he goes.  Nope.  Does not wash at all.

Keeps the counsel of sorcerers and kings?  I think what you mean to say there is that he gets used by sorcerers and kings.  As for getting pushed around well...he just isn't the sort that is gonna go slaughtering people just because they insult him or spit at him.

The criers were hilarious. Especially when they start slandering you and your involvement as a GW.

He's east of Reardon Manor, west of Benek,on your map you should see one small building surrounded by trees or monster nests if you have POI turned on, that's him.

Ah but Bhelen's cries have a nugget of truth in them. Why wouldn't Harrowmont's?

He wasn't dead. He had fallen. If your men (especially in dwarven politics) run after you just fall that's not a good look. It shows that you're a weak leader if you can't inspire your people to at least have enough respect if not fondness for you to defend you. Why would loyatlies shift after an arguement and he just got shoved unless their loyalty to him was weak at best?

You know the "free DLCs" from the Witcher 3 are for change the clothes of the NPCs?
or a simply mission?
or more cards for a game?
or just a new armor?

EAware would charge money for that, though.

And two REALLY good quests. Bioware would charge you $4.99 for that alone.

I think they did a solid job.

The horse armor and alt outfits are honestly better than what most game devs can manage to include in their base games. The artists at CDPR are so bloody talented their second rate stuff puts everyone else to shame.

Ahh I thought you meant at the end of the whole thing where Bhelen executes him.

I allowed Bhelen to live once. Got to change that in The Keep FTW.

Oh no they fight to the death then. XD

Or do they? My memory is mostly of Bhelen's men going beserk. I'm assuming it's the same for Harrowmont's considering Bhelen will have them all killed.

slow walk with WASD
-switch to fast walking with Lctrl
-sprint with Lshift (reduced speed, still costs stamina)
                        -Roach walk with WASD
                        -trott with Lshift
                        -gallop with double Lshift

Apropos of nothing, is there anything resembling an ETA for the expanded Triss romance content yet? I'm meandering around Skellige at the moment, preparing to break Yennefer's heart I assume, but I'm thinking I want to put the rest of Triss' romance off till it's got its additions, so I don't think I want to progress the plot just yet.

I'd expect it to drop when the first paid DLC releases.

Yeah, I am putting off my third playthrough until it's released. It's killing me. As Dread-Reaper said, I feel like it will be released with the DLC in October, but I am keeping my fingers crossed it will be before that.

Another thing that I would love to see in the next DA game is more dialogue and interaction in the side quests. I just finished the one where I have to fin the Jarls son who went off to kill the giant. I first had to talk to two salty characters in the local pub. Oh my the conversation between to the two characters was terrific. It really helps you to feel immersed in the culture. So cool! The writing is really fab in the game.

Jesus christ I'm just watching some cut scenes from the latest DAI DLC and isn't this thing looking like crap?

My god, couldn't be more obvious that the real talents left this company a long time ago. Things keep getting worse and worse

Walk is there for both keyboard/mouse and gamepad. They remove slow walk from gamepad.

P/S there use to be 3 speed, now only 2.
