Tac-cam never left, the majority was disappointed by the lack of cutscenes, many people disliked the jumping because it caused annoyances when getting collectibles, races are an afterthought and have no real effect on the game, some believe that nine was too many and would prefer a smaller amount that actually played a part in the central plot, more areas filled with repetitious fetch-quests and collectibles. In the past games Bioware had hyped up Val Royeaux to be this grand city, with multiple districts to it and the center of Orlesian culture, imagine how many people got excited when BW announced we could visit it.Now look at what we got, a complete and utter disappointment on so many levels, talk about shooting yourself in the foot. DA-MP is debatable, some people love it and some people loathe it, the crafting was greatly appreciated, too bad they implemented RNG, so you have to rely on RNGesus just to get a decent set of arms and armour, not to mention that a vast majority of the armours in the game are just straight up ugly. The cameos were nice, shame that all of the interesting ones were relegated to the War table. The Keep is nice, but it also bugs out on people, so if you wanted to do a playthrough where the Dark Ritual didn't happen and it bugged out, tough luck son, you wouldn't know until you were hours into the game. Skyhold, the place where you forced to wear the god-awful PJs, the place that, no matter how much effort you put into it would always have a gigantic hole in the wall, Skyhold is just unrealized potential. The pause feature never left. I almost forgot, the got rid of tactics, this sounds less like a game for the fans or more like a game just for you.
Tac-Cam was not in DA2 if I recall correctly. The majority is a myth. Many like Jumping and falling being included. Races took another 13 months to add, and as one that has and enjoys the option, it is appreciated. Also believe nine Companions is too much, but do like options.
Areas have unique side content including hidden locations and loot. I do not play DA-MP, but many seem to enjoy it. The Player can re-tint armors as they wish, and select from an array of schematics. Hawke was not restricted to the War table, and could be re-made as desired.
And Pause, CC, and some other like features are not found in some others games at all; appreciate DAI including them. And while tactics are simplified, they do work, though possibly still too difficult for some Players to manage.
And still: GOTY 2014.
