So finally i have played the game and if i must do a comparsion with DAI...
World full of life:
Yes the witcher 3 have way more life overall to the world... Night and day change the way animals ,people behave... Also the artstyle is really nice...Beautiful but not sparkly disney shiny...Inquisition felt like plastic in many areas and is way more colorful on my taste...And also lacks consistency because i had the impression that unlike witcher 3 the ambient does not match the setting at all...Reading the codex i had a sort of alternate reality setting. Also the fetch quest in inquisition contributed to make the world feel plastic unlike Witcher 3 where you have any kind of quests around and i loved how different they were. And i don't even mention the cities that in inquisition are jokes.
Consistency:
While the witcher 3 combat match perfectly the setting explaining when something new get added "The crossbow affair in the griffin hunting guest Vizimir give a crossbow to geralt and gerant comments how this is new for the witcher tradition" Dragon age inquisition don't have sense at all... Due to the war mage vs templar mage all around are feared as ever but still we have warriors capable to break the ground and make them erupt fire... Boomerang knife assassins that can hit hundred of times a ennemy not even bother to explaining why certain class that have nothing to do with magic add magical effects on their moves... It seems to me this thing was just done to make the game look cool in a desperate manner... Same how was happening to dragon age 2
Also while the witcher sequel always improved the setting in a very consistent manner... The difference from Dao to Inquisition is so huge that you are in the end wondering if the game is still in thedas...
In the end: I am loving witcher3 that is a product made with care and love. Sadly i can't say that for inquisition...
The only suggestion i can give to bioware is...
Take your time to make game...Put some extra effort on them and care about the setting...when you create a world keep it alive...
