The trailer for the new dlc for DAI looks awesome. I hope that the level cap will be raised with the dlc. Level 27 as the max is a little annoying.
Feedback... be more like The Witcher 3

It does look great.
Man, I'm excited.
Me too. Sadly, none of the dlc has made me feel excited, but this one looks damn good.

Finally, a wardrobe for the Inquisitor !
That's one less on the list.
A Wardrobe for Skyhold, and a Golden Nug access to the Cloud to allow storage for all character access to schematics and some items. These will be in the next Patch. Next Epilogue DLC may be Sept 8th, so am guessing the patch will be before then.

"Damnit. We save Ferelden, and they're angry. We save Orlais and they're angry. We close the breach twice and my own hand wants to kill me. Could one thing in this bloody world just stay fixed" That was amazing, i could watch that part of the trailer over and over again. She actually drops the F bomb in the international trailer, bloody is in the spanish released one.

I have seen so little of FO4 to know how the system will work to judge it for myself; simply heard enough to know it isn't for me.
So, despite it being from the same guys who did your favourite game, and the game being like 1/10 as mature as the witcher (not very, I would argue) you won't even LOOK at it?
You're just going off tidbits you hear from totally biased sources? Bethesda's not my favourite dev, but hell, even I'm going to at least look at it in detail...
You have got to expand your horizon's dude and be more open minded. You know you like their games, you should at least look in detail before you judge.

Ok, so I just saw a trailer for the Trespass DLC - out September 8th, apparently.
https://m.youtube.co...h?v=h7hXqo_B7OY
It looks goddamn glorious. It would seem they're making up some of their lost ground. Two story based DLC in rapid succession.
Well the deep roads were not all they could be, and still a long way from the kind of story I expect from bioware... My own inquisitor quipped about having more questions then answers.
I want to be hopeful, and I'll check it out to be sure, but I'm being cautious about how much optimism I have here... Some real story would be nice, just wish they'd add more to the maps in the main game to make them less boring.

Assumption again.
Skyrim is not my fave game; that is NWN1 followed by DAO, which of course are both Bioware titles.
Am going off info that Bethesda released at E3, so if it has bias, it their own.
Looking forward to SkyWind instead.

New Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC and more coming soon
http://www.dragonage...ore-coming-soon
Hey, folks!
I'm writing this a little in advance of PAX Prime so that it can be put up right after our panel on Saturday. Hopefully everything went well, and you've heard all about the upcoming content that will conclude our adventures together in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Before I go into detail, let me just say thank you. This game has been a crazy ride, from the moment we decided to completely rebuild DA on the Frostbite engine to today, when so many of you have stunned us with your amazing fan creations, passion and, of course, feedback on what we did right and where we can improve should we do another. Thank you on all counts!
Coming up, our newest patch targeting the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms includes a couple of treats in addition to the usual fixes.
First, the Golden Nug lets you "sync" your collectibles across games after you’ve completed DA:I's main story. To take advantage of this, head to the Skyhold Undercroft post game and click the new Golden Nug statue. After you've done that once, every game that's both a) online andon the same platform will have a similar statue added to the Undercroft and Haven. Clicking on that statue will sync your current game. This sync is bi-directional and additive, which means that any collectibles will be added to the online collection, even if the character doing the clicking is pre-endgame. It's like new game plus...without having to start a new game.
We're quite excited about this approach, since it lets you take advantage of your collection without having to restart a game already in progress. Also, each character that participates adds to your collection. The sync includes crafting schematics (including those acquired in DLC packs, as long as the packs are installed), potion recipes (but not upgrades), mounts, and Skyhold decorations.
Second, Skyhold now has a wardrobe. It comes pre-loaded with about a dozen outfits of varying colors, each carefully selected to minimize instances of plunging a spiked pauldron into your love interest's face when you kiss him or her.
The default beige is still available if that's your jam, of course, but we heard loud and clear that some (okay, yes, pretty much everyone) of you wanted some variety. To find the wardrobe, head to your bedroom once the game patches.
As with all of our patch content, these features are being added for free.
Our final announcement today was of Trespasser, the final DLC for Inquisition. It's something we haven't tried before: an epilogue. Trespasser tells an entirely new story, set two years after the main game. The story explores what it's like to be a world-saving organization when the world no longer needs saving. It's a chance to meet and talk with old friends, to uncover a new threat, and ultimately decide the fate of the Inquisition you worked so hard to build. It might just contain hints about the future of Thedas, too.
To play Trespasser, you’ll need a character that has completed DAI's main storyline, which is partly why we're announcing it a bit earlier-from-release than the others.
This content marks the end of our time with the Inquisition. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
All the best,
Mike Laidlaw

From the Twitter thread:
Thank you for posting this, Elhanan. I didn't know any of this and it sounds amazing.
EDIT: So, does anyone know if the patch is suppose to hit Sept. 8, or the dlc? I feel really sad right now for those who bought this on Xbox 360 and PS3. ![]()

Trailer
Yeah, I am not getting at all excited from this. It looks nice, but it's just a trailer. The one for Descent was really good to and that ended up being a bust. Bioware has disappointed me the entire way with this game, this shiny trailer does not convince me that this one will be any different.
Yeah I know, I'm cynical, but that's what they have done to me with this game.

You're not wrong for feeling that way, at all. People ask me a lot how I can be so certain that the expansions for TW3 will be amazing and my answer is always the same: Because CDPR have yet to disappoint me.
It only makes sense that if you feel spurned by a company or product, that you'll feel cynical and wary of future products. It's your right as a consumer to feel these things.
I won't lie-- that trailer excites me, but of course I will not allow my own hype to overthrow my expectations and I will keep those in check. I hope it's awesome. I want it to be awesome. Time will tell.
It does seem like they listened to a lot of feedback with item sharing and such, so maybe all the complaints about grinding and such hit its mark. Hopefully, this thread contributed to it. We'll see.

I will give them credit for some of the things that they are doing. The collectible sharing sounds great. No more collecting freaking shards or schematics and the rest. And being able to have different outfits than those friggin' pj's sounds great as well.
I have to admit as well that the idea of it taking place two years after the end of the main game interests me as well. Kudos for them for thinking of different things. Just hope that it turns out good.

The trailer is enough to get me hyped, and i have faith in the team. Then again i am happy with DA:I in general, probably makes it abit easier to be psyched for this. If this DLC/EXPANSION or whatever is amazing, and the game with all the DLC is outstanding it could take down DA:O for me personally. Quite excited to see where it goes.

The article has some fairly detailed answers on the final DLC; recommend it.
P.S. Have not seen Shards mentioned specifically as possible collectables.

I wonder if it also includes materials, or just schematics and recipes?

From one source:
The sync includes crafting schematics (including those acquired in DLC packs, as long as the packs are installed), potion recipes (but not upgrades), mounts, and Skyhold decorations.
And the other:
Once you complete the storyline for Inquisition, there will be a golden nug added to the undercroft in Skyhold. If you click on it, it synchronizes all of your collectibles to the cloud. Once you’ve done that, things like your potion recipes, tapestries, schematics are all synced up.
I do not believe 'all of your collectables' is literal.

Looks like they're ending it on a great note.
But apparently whilst we can have a little chat with Solas and see what's what, his story won't be ending here.

So the DLC is dropping on 8th Sept. right? If so, why did they go for such an awkward and unfavourable release window, a week after MGSV and a week before Destiny's $40 expansion, do they not like money?
