Speaking of which, on my third playthrough I'm trying to be as mean as I can possibly be to Triss and now I'm starting to hate myself. Lol As much as I don't like book-Triss, it's really hard to hate game-Triss. But still, Yen all the way, always.

Man, I am so psyched for Triss' extra nonsense. I miss her. Just curious, do we know when the "extra nonsense" is supposed to take place? Is it after the content in Novigrad. or is stuff added to the early quest track too?

Also, without spoilers... when does she show up to Kaer Morhen? And Keira and Letho, for that matter. I just finished the Ugly Baby sequence (which was pretty great all in all. Lambert is annoying, and also a dick), and nobody's there yet.

Some interesting video of DAI alpha build. It looks like much better than the actual released version, especially the interaction between PC, quest design and story telling etc. Not to mention the functional tactical view and not fetch quests. It is not where near TW3's level but still much better DAI than the final build.

Hey, I don't think I commented on this earlier, but just remembered last night - trolls in this game are completely adorable.

 

I love them.

Hey, I don't think I commented on this earlier, but just remembered last night - trolls in this game are completely adorable.
 
I love them.

Tw3 has the best trolls and best godlings. Jonny is simply the best.

I would not consider the Descent a loss; nothing in it was as problematic as the excesses of ME2 and ME3. And since the cut-scenes were used primarily for the Main Quest, seems to be on the same track as before.

The trolls are cuter than the godlings. End of the day, Kids are annoying, and Johnny was a little obnoxious.

I love the trolls in the Witcher series, the trolls in two are good too, and I adore the godlings, they are such great characters.

Not everything changed; remembered that one could destroy placables upon entering a Keep, and used that with my Inq. Then was able to literally Evade pursuit by vaulting the broken bridge and flank the oncoming guards. Also recalled the mention of an alternative way into the Keep; used that in my session, too.

But since it was clearly a pre-Alpha build, no expectations were held of any such gameplay. To get this was a bonus.

That wasn't my only problem with his video, it was just one, it was not my first post but it was the first that you responded too. My overall problem with Joe was his attitude about the situation. I explained why too. I posted several things. I think Nintendo is borked too but my argument is that him expecting his experience with Nintendo to be any different was bogus in itself. His attitude toward anyone that disagreed with him as a 'hater' or a 'fanboy'. 

 

You are completely right in your analogy and demonstrated he had a valid complaint. But his attitude is what I took issue with. Sorry I did not clarify.

 

Actually I may have assumed I posted my big @Joe rant in this thread but actually it was in Anime thread that is now locked, it was the other mega thread that I replied too :/ I could see why my post was off as I assumed I posted more reasons within this thread besides the point you were making about him having bought the console with his job.

I only responded to that post because it contained incorrect information I wanted to correct. That's all. As for his attitude, to me he just sounds like any angry reviewer ranting about a product he took issue with. His name is "AngryJoe" after all. He didn't get that name by ranting nicely. lol! 

 

I don't see how he wanted a special experience with Nintendo, it seems to me as though he just had an issue with their practices and were calling them out on it just like a lot of other big Youtubers. I don't think everyone who criticized him is a "hater" but I do wonder why almost every Nintendo defender focused fire on him and not Pewdiepie, Boogie, or Total Biscuit, who also called Nintendo out. They even began flinging around personal insults directed at him.  If I were Joe, I most certainly would think these defenders were either people who hated him personally or blind Nintendo "fanboys" who can't take any criticism of their beloved company. 

 

But I'll leave it alone before this thread gets locked or something.

Makes sense, though. The shards and the mosaics have quests and dialogue associated with them.

 

Personally, my inquisitors do not go off on frivolous shard hunts. They have their priorities in order (ie I'm far too lazy and disinterested in those particular timesinks. I'll leave it to the crazy 100%ers).

 

The schematics thing will literally redeem all subsequent playthroughs, though. This is a great move on their part. Plus, once patching cools down, hopefully the modding situation will be a little more stable.

 

Makes sense due to the quests thing, but yet makes no sense because almost everyone hates them.  Almost Elhanan, I said almost, not absolutely everyone.  Just cutting your trolling off at the pass.

Neither does it say anywhere that I was expecting them.  This is what that would look like.  "I am expecting them to add shards to the things that able to be collected".  

 

Did I assume?  Yes, because it would have made sense to me, I hoped for it.  Did I expect it.  Nope, never said it.  You merely implied that from what I said.

( inquisition building new keeps for the refugees, anyone?) Trying to fool people who HAS played the 2 games, unlike him.
