"A Night to Remember" is the most op trailer, Imho. It really captured the tone of the game so beautifully. The music is haunting, beautiful and freaky.
That was a good one, but this is still my favorite Witcher trailer...
I love that it was mentioned in the main game as well, and is part of the canon. (by Vesemir, IIRC)

I think that one might be my favorite as well. Because it so fully defines Geralt's character, in that he does not believe in a lesser evil. That and it really shows off those Witcher reflexes.
I wasn't a super fan of that trailer honestly.... very actiony and all that, plus one of the interesting parts about Geralt is that he is neutral and thus he navigating the various factions is an exercise more for the player to determine their own moral compass.
It's another interesting contrast with DA where you have total freedom over the character creation, but then the setting and role is pretty much completely set (you are the head of the inquisition set to stamp out evil).
In TW you have a set character, but the character itself occupies somewhat of a gray space and the allegiances are unspecified or left more for the player to determine overall.
I preferred this one from TW2 even though it was also action heavy, I think it's safe here? I'm sorry if it isn't it's got a decapitation.
However it's interesting they decided to start with sort of the assassin of the king and this kind of sheer act of brutality, plus that little twist of the King's court mage sensing and deflecting portions of the attack.
I haven't met a Witcher trailer I didn't love, but I think I have to agree that A night to remember is my favorite. It has a very dark romance to it. It's haunting in both its beauty and disturbing images. It's brilliant, really.
Having said that, I still get a bit of a flutter when watching the Killing Monsters
trailer.

Go Your Way was fantastic, but doubly so once you rewatch it after finishing the game. Probably my favorite.
There is a rumour that EA want's to buy CDP.
Someone on reddit posted an early development shot from EA for Witcher 4
What do you think. Is it legit? I'm a bit afraid tbh....
Oh, I am sure EA would love to get their hands on it, but I doubt there is any real truth behind buyout rumors. It is a scary rumor though--kind of like
doomsdayers going on about the end of the world.

CDPROJEKT should keep their distance from EA as far as possible.
I doubt they would want to have anyone controlling the content they want to release and produce (in fact, they explicitly stated that they're glad they don't have an external publisher above their heads).
And I don't think they need it financially, not after Witcher 3.

I hope EA never get their greedy paws on CDPR because we have seen what happens when EA get their greedy mits on developers and it never works well for the customer.
I just finished a scene where it caused my heart to break. I am not sure of ow to do the spoiler tag but it was a scene that was just so emotional and had a small heartwarming moment. That is what makes it so tragic. I hope Bioware is paying attention because that is a scene that is bittersweet. It was very impactful

I agree there are a lot of moments like that in Witcher 3, would be great if Bioware could do that more in their games again, I missed it in Inquisition. Before the thread's troll rushes to his keyboard to once again defend Bioware, let me reinforce the FACT that he has zero clue what he is talking about because he hasn't played Witcher 3. Yes there were a couple of moments in DAI but they were no where near as powerful as moments in Witcher 3.
@chrstnmonks if you want to add spoiler tags it's just [ spoiler ] text you want to hide then [ / spoiler ] without the spaces. Sorry I got ninja'd LOL
For me the most emotional, as in actually made me shed a tear were
Spoiler
Vesemir's death and administering the trial of grasses to Uma. Then there are the big WTF did I do moments like watching Geralt committing suicide (well as good as) in the bad ending. The choice of letting the tree spirit live to save the children at the cost of an entire village. Kiera Metz getting impaled, the baby in the oven ....and so many more.
DAI had Haven's destruction where it doesn't matter if you save people or not they still get replaced at Skyhold so it loses it's impact. The only other thing that had any impact for me was Cole's backstory or rather the story of the boy he was impersonating, but nothing moved me to tears in DAI and I was disappointed that none of my decisions had any real impact on the world...
Don't care if TW3 is acclaimed or not; also skip GoT and other fare that include questionable content. But the DA series has quite enough 'feels' for their fans, though perhaps not enough for all of them on the forums.
I finally found the Where the Wolf and Cat play (?) this play through and

I totally killed the stupid son of a castrated goat. I was so sad for the girl, but was more sad that her aunt was willing to hand her to Geralt ( told her the truth about who killed the girl's parents) because she can't feed her.
I really wished I had the option to tag the girl along. But in the end I forked out money.
It was sweet when I saw her again though and the gift she gave me was adorable.
