Oh, look what popped up:

https://www.youtube....h?v=ffdxS9R6NTE

That looks absolutely amazing!

I was wavering and considering buying Tresspasser as it supposedly has some content mentioning Sandal, and I seriously missed seeing him and Bodahn in DAI, Dagna is ok but I prefer Sandal. But looking at TW3 Hearts of Stone I think it will be a lot longer before I buy Tresspasser, sorry but back to waiting for Tresspasser to get a discount on PSN before I buy it...

As for the crafting argument (and please Elhanan don't waste time responding to what I am going to say, I only see your posts if other people quote you, I am not interested in you biased opinions which despite what you think are not facts). I like the crafting in TW3 because you can get good armor without having to grind and because you can break down armor and weapons to regain resources including runes. I hate that in DAI you can't recover any resources in DAI, you can't recover anything from unwanted armor or weapons you can only sell it. I agree with those saying the War Table should be able to be used for gathering resources, the amount of plants and metals gathered via that in all my playthroughs was pathetic. I also agree that the availability of fade touched materials was also very bad, like KBomb I had difficulty finding any ft materials at all.

(start rant)

So, apparently I will not be playing DAI after all as I can't buy it from Origin without a credit card linked to my paypal account so that EA can "continue billing me". Screw that noise, there is a reason why I don't use any cards. Spending the money on the Witcher 3 expansion pass instead. Maybe it was a hint from the universe or something? I'd like to think it was.

(end of rant)

That guy with flaming hand is a cross between Ragnar Lothbrok and beckham. Or maybe I'm just missing Vikings too much.

I can definitely see the Ragnar Lothbrok similarity ... gotta love "Vikings" I binge watched it on Amazon Prime...

Does anyone know who the VA is for The Man of Glass he sounds familiar, sort of got an Alfred Molina vibe from how he spaced his words but I know it isn't Alfred Molina...

Not a waste of time; have plenty to spare. I also wish reverse engineering was included like SWTOR, but as I have ample materials, it is not needed, but would be a nice perk. As for your biased opinions against DAI, such a post was expected; reason I also have you on the Ignore list. No instructions were required.

Pls do not quote me; would hate to ruin her dreams....

Posting in the OST thread somewhere around here the other day made me think about the music in TW3 and DA:I, particularly TW3 with Priscilla's song as it compares to DA:I and the Dawn scene.

It kind of is a micro-cosm for the differences between each other, DA:I has this kind of overt, we’re all sort of down but then one solitary person comes up with the song and resurrects everyone’s spirits and who are all now united in purpose.

I found the scene on youtube

Spoiler

TW3 is more like, life goes on, the guard stops outside, some people get emotional, other take it in, but others are only partly there or not paying attention at all, like the couple making out and so on. It also has sort of after the song ending, the guard goes on his way, life goes on sort of deal, one sort of song (kind of like in a Disney movie) isn’t really going to change anything or transform anything, it’s less fantasy more reality, it might be a cool moment in the middle of everything else, but that’s all. I also found that scene actually someone had the Polish version!

Spoiler

DA:I kind of has that, because you get to see Solas kind of off in the distance sort of not really buying all of it (and kind of related to his character), and sort of more with curiosity, but in general the theme is sort of one of zero to hero. Plus at the end the person makes a dramatic Hollywood wrap-up line.

It’s also interesting to compare the settings, DA:I takes place in a military camp, kind of isolated from the world, whereas TW3 takes place in a busy pub with kind of people kind of packed together a bit like sardines.

Trailer looks solid. No Radovid romance though. Must be waiting until blood and wine for that.

Priscella's Song was not meant to change, transform or affect anything. It's just someone singing a ballad about the epic love between 2 people. It was never meant to be heroic and life changing specially with the lyrics. It only made people snog :)

I'm not worried. That lot is far too busy analyzing the pH of Radovid's various vital essences to mount a proper witch hunt.

Ohh I am so looking forward to that mansion.  It looked really cool, as well as the big toad monster.  Also really looking forward to meeting Shani, as I never played TW1 and she seems to have quite a lot of fans.

Hehe, snog.  I have loved that word since first reading it Harry Potter.  :P

But yeah, your right.  It was a absolutely beautiful song and that lady had such a sweet voice.  One of my favorite parts of the game.

In this thread, not generally, but Moondrummer is an exception. She is a bit of an....odd little witch hunter in that regard, but she is our odd little witch hunter. :P

Didn't they shoot that rumor down? I think it was confirmed that the patch doesn't come out this week and the reveal is something else.

edit: found it: http://www.gamepur.c...-not-ready.html

You're killing me Tm. I was so excited for a moment thinking they may release it this week along with the trailer. You crushed me. I hope they release it soon, like Tommy I am impatient for it. I want it now.

Radovid sadly looked fugly in TW3. He was actually pretty hot in TW2.

But the only man for my Geralt is Roche.

I want to move the romance forward, but I also want Rad to meet with... an accident... nearly as much.

I am on the record as being squarely on team sorceress waifu, though.

HoS is looking awesome.

Not sure when my new Geralt is going to be ready for it as he is slowly crawling through Death march. Wow it is brutal. I read somewhere it's easier that Witcher 2's darkmode, but I'm not so sure about that. This is why I have it installed on SSD, re-loads times - not so bad.

Under levelled loot is a pain though. My LV7 Geralt takes on a Lvl 13 Alghoul and ends up with Lvl 3 gear for his trouble. *** ******* dammit!

Actually both games have problems with underlevelled loot from big fights, so next time around BW, don't do that, or CDPR for that matter really hope in the new patch the do a run through of the guarded treasure loot drops - not good right now.

Have to admit that trailer did nothing for me. The music, and the dialogue was all pretty meh, underwhelming. Guess i am not that hyped or interested for it. I'll hold off on getting it until i see the reviews and such.

I am a Trissmancer all the way. I will say that I didn't mind the romance with Yenn and thought it was pretty sweet, actually. She isn't as bad as I thought. Triss is and always will be my girl. It's the freckles.
