Note that the last NVidia update also created some issues for DAI; for myself it was flickering lights. Perhaps drivers are a part of the TW3 issues, too.
Here's something Bioware could stand to learn from Wticher 3:
Properly test large patches, especially before pushing to consoles. While some PC users have been lucky enough to get a hotfix for some issues brought by the latest patch, and verifying files fixes some others, the console players are well and truly stuck, as the AI issues introduced by the patch have brought gameplay to a screeching halt. (The bug(s) are serious enough to completely stall the MQ along multiple points - I have a stalled game where I can't move past White Orchard, whereas others are finding they can't complete any quest that involves the Wild Hunt).

Just downloaded it from GOG. For those who were curious about size, the download is split into 3 parts with sizes of 1 MB, 4.1 GB, and 260 MB. Install takes 2.5 GB of disk space.
Haven't played DA2 or DAI yet so I don't really have anything else to add to this thread yet.

No they actually did a world wide release at midnight, although PSN UK didn't start till 1am, but it was supposed to start at midnight uk time with the other countries getting it at whatever that was in their time zones. Unfortunately due to slow connection mine won't finish downloading for six hours so my playstation will be working on it most of the night... Except the 1.10 patch of Witcher 3 is causing problems especially with NG+. Not that I play the Witcher 3 (not my cup of tea), but my son-in-law does. He has had no end of problems since the patch. It is to the point he went back to playing Destiny.
So big patches no matter what the game is a problem when it comes to QA.
Pretty much. I've held off on installing the patch fpr now. it'll be a while before my new lvl 18 Geralt is ready for HoS anyway. And he's weathered the stotm in Death March. Might as well get the achievement before the next patch 'Rebalances' everything.
Also one of the listed fixed didn't make it apparently. The Gwent card indicator fix.
Still it's awesome they included new dialog with the Triss and Yen thing.

Yes, that was precisely my point - that patch is a mess, especially for consoles. And it looks like trying to play Hearts of Stone without a proper fix results in even more issues, like falling through the world.
I believe they have released a hotfix for the PC already on both Steam and GOG, let's hope the consoles are soon to follow.

Can't really expect 600 fixes AND additional contents AND improvements for a massive game like this to go perfect on release. At least they are trying so hard.
I was lucky not to experience any of the bugs when they released the patch. Mine was from the new driver that nvidia has released because my bf's battlefront demo flickers now too and we have exactly the same spec.
Solved my issue by turning off MSAA in DAI; perhaps such a tweak could fix that game, too.
Gosh the expansion is AWSOME! The wedding with Shani and certain ghost pal is well done, and shows so much complexity of all characters involved. Vesmir's true love is nice, while viper witcher gears are what I been waiting for so long! Can not keep playing, must resist!
P.S. Shani's first 15 min appearance beats all other red heads combined (fake included).
So it really is that good then? Great, that just made the wait a little bit more bearable - not.
Btw, since Shani is in the expansion, I hope there is also an appearance from the toughest boss in the first game: her landlady, a.k.a. old Gran. Would be a full circle indeed.
