P.S. You should say why you are not purchasing those DLC in a constructive manner. While I enjoy them both, opinions as to what stopped a purchase are as valid, given that they are informed opinions. And as much as you like storied content, Trespasser appears to be something you would enjoy a great deal.

For my part, I'm incredibly curious as to whether you'd let whatever her opinions are stand, or if you'd dismiss them as uninformed merely for not aligning perfectly with your own and rebut them point by point with something entirely irrelevant.

I'll second Trespasser though, Xety. You should play it if you've any affection for the base game. It offers quite a lot of value.

Well, an another thing from CDPR that Bioware should adapt to. The bonus digital stuff you get for buying Hearts of Stone were not for pre-orders only, or for those buying the dlc independently, but for all who bought the content, No matter when or how, if you bought it you got it. Personally I hate retailer/pre-order/edition exclusive content with a passion. I shouldn't need a spreadsheet for deciding how and from where to buy my games if I want to get everything. It's a shame that they couldn't do that with physical goods as well though, but that falls on Microsoft I guess. The Xbox version of the game HAD TO come with extra content for the buyers on that platform. That's what paid the advertising bills.

I emphatically agree with that. I can get on board with deluxe editions or collectors editions, but I emphatically hate preorder bonuses and retailer specific items. I was hoping that was over and done with these days, but EA brought it back in a huge way with the Inquisitors Edition being a GameStop exclusive (online, no less). That was a hugely irritating disappointment.

I've learned to hate Gamestop myself. I've never done any business in any of their stores, not even sure they have them in my country, but whenever a big game comes out they always have some exclusive content they're hoarding for themselves. If those of us living outside of the US (and UK) are lucky it will be a timed exclusive. If we're not.. argh.

That's the thing. I've tried again and again getting back into the game, at least finishing a third pt, but I just can't. I am serious when I say that warden Alistair was my biggest source of motivation in trying on the game again. ( please don't laugh) But even he could not save the game for me. So, if I don't like the game at all, why buy the dlcs? That would make me a masochist. Heh.

The biggest culprit I think was playing the Witcher, and how much more this game has to offer even when there is "absolutely" nothing there at all that catered to me. Not a single thing. But I found more enjoyment there than DA, a franchise that I loved so much.

Like I'm playing W2 now ( I skipped 1 after 2 hrs, cus Gawd help me, I just can't. Not a big enough fangirl) and even that... a game that's old, still a hell of a lot better than DAI in everything ( except for my dear Dorian, he rawks) in my own opinion.

In the end, I just want anything to do with Inquisition to be over and THANK THE MAKER it is! Now Im ready to go to the next one because from what I've been hearing about Trespasser, I'm confident Bioware is listening, and I more confident about the next DA. As usual I will pre-order same with Andromeda, the first chance it becomes available.

My faith in bioware is bigger than my wallet.

Geralt with a beard, for Witcher 2.  Highly recommend it.

And for Witcher 3

Lore-friendly witchers, especially the eyes. Oh god, the eyes. So much yes to them.

Should be easy enough to install. If your bf can't help you give me a kick and I'll guide you through them.

Nothing to bring. You do not like DAI, thus not investing more into the DLC. That appears to be a good consumer judgment.

And at least you explored the characters enough to have seen Dorian (love the Dorian vs Vivienne banter almost as much as Solas vs Viv). DAI is huge, and even have to take a break between campaigns myself. Currently finishing my third run now, and am trying to decide on my 2H Qunari that will side with the Templars vs power hungry Mage when I choose to play again.

And as I have mentioned before, as long as this topic includes DAI, no plans to leave. There are far too many erroneous posts about the game (and about myself, but I digress), and pleased to try and place a bit of balance to the overall perspective.

However, if someone sees me posting false information about TW3, pls note it for me to review. While I have criticized the lack of Pause, higher amts of ESRB content, and the Fishbowl effect of searching, these all seem to be spot on as to content included in that game. Not going to leave because of the truth either.

Not lingering because of disappointment; simply utilizing the other part of the topic to have my say.

P.S. You should say why you are not purchasing those DLC in a constructive manner. While I enjoy them both, opinions as to what stopped a purchase are as valid, given that they are informed opinions. Really? What misconceptions in the last say, fifty pages have there been? Why does your occupation of clearing up these things have to do with posting multiple links about MP in TW3 and such?

I think everyone can hazard a guess as to why you feel a compulsive need to post here.

Guessing and assumptions abound here; am learning not to expect more than that. So I stay and attempt to offer a varied opinion from the chorus usually heard.

As for MP, my postings were made after others posted articles and posts about TW3 being a simple RPG. Thought that it might be prudent to also link articles that show that the same company is also making changes (eg; MP, paid DLC, etc.).

Seriously, loved your previous patience with him. Made me feel ashamed of myself and of my reaction to him. I know, I know, it tends to occasionally boil my blood as well, but there is always at least one of them in every single forum I've ever participated in. Do continue to make me feel bad about myself. Please.

TW3 is a simple rpg with no MP, no misconceptions there. Both free and paid dlc have been everything promised and more. No misconceptions there.

What kind of MP element coming to Cyberpunk has yet to be seen or discussed. No misconceptions there.

What trips me up is that unless you truly are a robot (or some sort of sentient computer program), you can't be everywhere at once. Someone somewhere else is likely disagreeing with you right now. Why fixate on this particular thread? Nobody's changing their mind, especially at this point. Hell, more than one person actually agrees with you regarding DAI's many virtues, strange as it may seem.

By the way, the explicit content thread fell off the first page in MEA. If you hurry, you can save it.

On a side-note:

Are you guys stoked to get your free Divinity: Enhanced Edition for PC today, given you bought/supported the original?

I know I am.

Yep, downloading now.

Sadly, it's going that way. I mean apparently DAI was only multiplayer at first. Then also look at SW:BF :)

Now I fear for Andromeda

Yeah. I'll be reading a few reviews and some non-spoiiler posts to try and find out exactly what impact MP will have on ME:A and how avoidable it really is. Simply put if it's fun then yeah, why not give it a go. But I don't want to be forced into playing MP to advance some plot point in the SP game.

This is what I expect of Cyberpunk too. To use MP if it's fun, or completely ignore it and stick just to the SP game if not.

As for Witcher 3, MP would not have made any sense, apparently in development some publishers they spoke to wanted them to shoehorn it in, but thankfully they stuck to their guns and said NO.

If this is a way of telling me I was a little too harsh, you're probably right. ^_^  I shouldn't even reply to him at all, tbh. He feeds off of it. He brings the worst out in this thread and I don't want to join him in that endeavor.

The OP and those posts like it are my nominees. But as they are allowed to flourish and evolve, it is good that others of opposing POV are allowed to be included as well.

Heh. Obviously CDPR is held to a different standard than BioWare there. Anything that CDPR ever said in any interview will absolutely come true, while complaining about features you saw in an early BioWare trailer missing in the final product makes you a fool who doesn't know what alpha footage is.

Ah yes, the infamous alpha footage that everyone is a total idiot for thinking any of the features would be included in the final product, even while the devs were posting info on the decisions and remarking about how you can save both the village and Keep if you choose.  lol!!!

I am not sure what all it involved, but I saw it on a friend's computer not ling after launch and it was completely breathtaking. Certainly better than DAI and a few other releases at the time.

Better is subjective; prefer DAI myself.
