Already decided that unless it's a totally outstanding game I won't be buying the next Mass Effect game because they have already stated they are pushing multiplayer and co-op into it ... yeah we saw how well that worked for Assassin's Creed:Unity hence it not being in Syndicate. It will be the first Bioware game I won't be pre-ordering, if I buy it at all it will be second-hand or bargain bucket. Given what a bad taste Inquisition has left with it's unfixed bugs and glitches that Bioware have walked away from and the awful way they treat their fans I doubt I will ever pre-order another Bioware game including the next Dragon Age if they make one, it's sad because I am such a huge fan of all their other games with the exception of KOTOR because I never played that one, they dropped the ball big time with Inquisition in my opinion.

I just finished playing the Trespasser dlc, and sorry but apart from finding Sandal's diary and Cullen getting a pet Mabari (would still have rather had Sandal in the game and not Dagna and missed having a Mabari), I am sorry to say I found it very "meh" .... so disappointing, I am glad I got it at a discounted price but not sure it was worth even that. If that was the best dlc in the opinion of people here then sorry definitely won't bother with Descent or Hakon and I wouldn't buy the rip off armor packs anyway. Trespasser was too linear and not enough to do, also it was a shoddy way for Bioware to wrap the story given people with older consoles can't play it. Also had a lot of glitches, at a few points my elven warrior was a disembodied head and pair of arms moving around the landscape! Very little banter, yet again and just, well, sorry but I found it so boring. Bioware really need to up their game, even the free dlc missions in witcher were more fun.

Try KOTOR, it delivers a much better story and characters than DAI.

Still love the card
With the right hair and beard Gerald could make a living playing a grumpy Santa (something I wouldn't mind seeing)
Kids: Gimme gimme gimme gimme!
Geralt: Sigh....I guess.
Sara the godling could be a very interesting choice for this :
Sara : Gimme gifts ! Eh ! Eh ! EH !
Geralt : Just shut it please... *sigh*

I'd play it on PC if at all possible. The only reason I'd recommend it is that there are mods that restore cut content for both games, and some of it is really terrific (I'd argue it's necessary for KoTOR 2). Plus, you should be able to run either one of them on a toaster. They released in '03 and '04 respectively.
On Steam, KoTOR 2 at least got a recent patch that added controller support. I'm not sure if the same thing happened with KoTOR 1 though.
I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you're a Star Wars fan. They're wonderful and sublime.

I concur, I can't speak for Kotor 2 yet but Kotor is really wonderful, it's not just a good Star Wars game, it's an excellent game.
I was also able to run the game on my laptop, which is basically a potato.

God. I got it on release, and it ruined my Xbox (and my Xbox scraped up the disc), then I got it again on Xbox. Then I got it for PC. Then at some point I got it AGAIN on Steam. And then, last year, I got it for my phone (which is actually a decent platform for it. Usually touch screen gaming ranges from terrible to merely tolerable, but it works really well).
I should also mention that I just checked, and they're both on sale for $2.99 USD on Steam (winter sale happening right now). KoTOR 2 definitely got all gussied up recently, with controller support etc, but it looks like KoTOR 1 didn't get similar treatment (which is a travesty, but maybe it's coming down the line). There are gamepad solutions available, though - mapping programs Xpadder and PGP (the one I used). They're clunky, but functional.

Do you have more information as to how will they be pushing co-op and multiplayer into the game? As in making it a part of the Single Player campaign? Co-Op like Dead Space 3? Multiplayer like Invasion in Dark souls? Destiny? Star Wars Battlefront?
If they are forcing multiplayer and co-op into Mass Effect Andromeda... well... EA just doesnt know when to stop. Aside from them sports game, the only multiplayer game with their logo that is worth a damn is probably only Battlefield.
If that is indeed what EA wants to do - shove multiplayer into every darn game just to nickle and dime players, I wish that they will merge with Konami and bring their pathetic multiplayer in everything philosophy to pachinko machines. Yeah, EA/Konami - Mass Effect Pachinko with multiplayer and co-op experience.

I'd actually really like to see a source for that, because I don't think I've seen any reference co-op other than the fact that it will have multiplayer - which will likely be like ME3's (which was co-op). Where have they said that they'd be doing this?
I still feel pretty safe saying that they won't be adding (let alone forcing) co-op in the campaign.

I hope you are right. As long as multiplayer co-op is separated entirely I wouldnt mind - I still dont like how they sneak multiplayer galaxy readiness into ME3 although it is only 1 meaningless scene.
If EA wants to make multiplayer games - by all means, grow a pair and make multiplayer games. Bethesda licensed someone else to make ESO and has the dignity to leave their SP titles alone. EA on the other hand piggyback multiplayer micro-transactions into their SP game.
Some may claim that they need multiplayer to better finance the game because RPG dont sell well, in 2015 TW3 and Fallout 4 are both single player games and both are very successful financially. One is a story driven open world RPG and the other a sandbox open world RPG. EA suit monkeys and Konami pachinko donkeys are one of a kind.

This is true, and it's a sentiment that I overwhelmingly support. But it's also true that RMTs are a license to print money. For every one of us who refrain on principle, there are three idiots throwing their buck fifty at ammo boxes and yelling at everyone else to "git gud."
I don't mind the ME3 MP model reappearing in MEA (except, of course, for galactic readiness). Progression was nicely balanced and you really could swing it easily without resorting to purchasing them. And it was fun as hell while it lasted. As long as it keeps out of the SP, I'm fine.
I will say that EA has miles to go before they're as maliciously idiotic as Konami.

That and the Xbox version was for original Xbox. I still have my copy, but it's a bit slow loading at times on 360. Nothing particularly bad, but you'd definitely get a better experience on PC... and it doesn't take much to run anyways.
That said, I still don't care for a remake
Great game though.

Unfortunately my health doesn't allow me to play on PC, hence I bought a cheap second-hand xbox360 so I could play Witcher 2 (having become to ill to finish it on pc). It's one of the main reasons I play games on the playstation (the controller suits my arthritic hands the best), shame it never made it onto PlayStation though.

Sorry I can't remember where I read it, it was one of the articles after E3 this year. It stuck out because I don't see the point of having both in a game. Of course it could have been a misprint, after reading that I gave up on the game totally and haven't read anything else about it.Do you have more information as to how will they be pushing co-op and multiplayer into the game? Well, you can't go totally wrong on the 360 then. Just the loading is funky at times. I forgot if Kotor 2 runs the same way.
You'll probably have to buy them used on amazon or something.

There are programs that allow you to map keyboard controls to a gamepad (I've played both KoTOR and DAO on PC using my xbox 360 pad using one of them) which do work fairly well. Steam has also released a new gamepad with a similar form factor to these that lets you do the same thing, probably much better since it seems like such a polished piece of hardware (I haven't actually used it, but I hope to pick one up at some point soon).
But! If you do end up playing through KoTOR and you enjoy it enough to move on to the second game (the second game is, in some ways, better than the first, although not everyone might agree with that), then I'd suggest PC. As I said, it's recently had native gamepad support added, so you'll be able to use your PS4 gamepad to play it, and the cut content mods benefit KoTOR 2 far more than KoTOR 1. KoTOR 2 was made by Obsidian, not Bioware, and it was rather famously rushed out for the holidays unfinished. If you play it on the Xbox, you'll be playing the truncated version, unfortunately.
I really hope you get your hands on a copy though! It's really not to be missed.
