Late for the party, but still wanted to share love for KOTOR, my first Bioware game and of course happy holidays for all RPG lovers whatever our tastes and preferences are.

While I love the story of KOTOR, the mandatory mini-games caused me to make this a single play experience. Worth it once, but that is enough. And some sites have the game available for sale often (eg; Steam, GOG, etc).

On another note: I received Fallout 4 for Christmas and I love it so far. I am addicted to pimpin' out my settlement and have hardly touched the main story, but I am having tons of fun so far.

Aside from the title "Blood and Wine".... no

 

Sides... to me, a character more interesting than Shani is not saying much       I find many characters more interesting than her.

I do hope Blood and Wine will be a post credits expansion so that all the support characters will be available for it. I can not imagine Toussaint without Dandelion or Fringilla. Naturally that would count one of the endings out but it will hardly be the canon one anyway.

They really need to up their game with Dandy. The best he was in the games was in TW1. In the other two he's just a goofy cad. He's got much greater range and sincerity in the books. I don't know why the writers have basically left out half of his personality.

It depends on what kind of character they need him to be. They have the right to use the characters in video games but are not required to keep them identical to the books. Take Triss for example and the fact that Geralt can choose her as his end game lover. I've read most of the books and honestly I think I prefer CDPRs approach in most cases.

Blood and Wine is still coming. TW3 and its all expansions are truly a new mile stone for RPG.

Hearts of Stone was fantastic.

 

Gaunter O'Dimm and the Von Everic brothers are some of the best characters in the entire series. Of course it was great to see Shani return as well.

I can't wait what kind of crazy stuff cdpr will pull out for Blood and Wine because HoS was just amazing for me. It will be hard to top that, but I got faith.

I can't believe I missed this fight in my two playthroughts of the dlc.
The atmosphere, music, cutscenes..wow. and they made it optional in a way only very few will experience it....

omg, that entire sword sequence at the 2:08 mark was just glorious.  Now that is a sword fight!
