Feedback... be more like The Witcher 3

Darker, more mature stories? I'm all for that.
Saw complaints about Inquisition being rushed. Compared to...? DA2 was a shitshow. ME3 was better. Sure, there are the Hinterlands, a lot of repetitive quests, but pretty much every area of the map had a purpose other than 'look at how pretty we tried (and failed) to make the world.'
Mind you, I put off buying Inquisition until i saw player reviews. After DA2, which is by far the worst/most disappointing game I own, I was pleasantly surprised. I have not enjoyed TW3 in comparison.
I'm not saying The Witcher 3 is a bad game. It's just over-hyped.
We'd all like to see decisions matter much more. The gaming industry as a whole needs to address that. Even TW3 is miles short of where they should be by now.

Better yet, be nothing like The Witcher 3. Huge, empty open world full of the long, worn out fetch/kill x quests.
...
What?

I am not the biggest fan of The Witcher 3, but that made little sense.

Are you for real?
Sounds like you didn't play TW3 at all. That description fits DAI to a T tho.

If this thread did not exist and I also took my info from the rest of bsn, I would have never played my one of the 3 best games of my life. DAO> TW3>ME. TW3 really is above DAO but I am being biased towards the first rpg that I fell head over heels in love with.

Yeah, every map in DAI had a purpose, that's why I can skip all of them with a simple power cheat and finish the game and still be regarded as the hero who closed all the rifts and stabilized the world. And that first sentence makes no sense, I think it's because you got TW3 confused for DAI. Might wanna fix that.

Please let it be true.
Would make sense actually as the expansion is rumored to include gameplay changes that are based on player feedback. Of what kind, that I do not know. The enhanced edition could also act as a patch that gives them to players who do not have a season pass.

Oh, I didn't remember that. Maybe it will have that included as well.

Kind of glad actually, if they really were going to have a EE, why release it before the last DLC?

The previous EEs weren't Goty editions, they were huge content patches. Why would the paid DLCs matter?
A shame though.

No.I found the Witcher 2 boring so of course I won't like 3.I play Dragon Age because it is it's own thing.Geralt is a boring character.I at least have fun with DA:I combat. The combat is sluggish & just outright stupid sometimes. To me,Witcher 3 is not all that great.I get more enjoyment from Fallout 4 on console. The Witcher is not tactical by any means unless you considers weapon switching tactical. I prefer they expand on what they have & want to expand on.
Flawless logic there! The combat as far as i understood, is not supposed to be very tactical. It is much more skill/action based. Calling it "sluggish & just outright stupid" shows your lack of skill. I found the combat to be fun and pretty simple to understand. Then again you disliked the game before playing it so i'll leave it at that.

You should try it. I couldn't finish Witcher 1 and 2, but 3 is out of this world. But i think you are totally set on hating on the game you refuse to play.

Gotta love that not even 30 mins of IGN posting that, they already had over 600 comments. People are digging it!

Most of the company is working on Cyberpunk, with only a sizable team remaining on The Witcher, I don't think they'd be able to release an EE while they're still working on the expansion.

I agree. But I think the difference is, I remember back then when you were still on the fence about playing The Witcher series, you were in more of a "positively unsure and curious" mood about the game.
As opposed to people like him who are already in the mental state of not giving the game a chance whatsoever (like you've said).
I say let them do whatever they want. No skin off my back if they wish to limit themselves in that manner. ![]()

For what it's worth, TW3 is in most ways a much better game than either of its predecessors. I agree with that reading of Geralt in TW1 and TW2, but for whatever reason I found him to be a very gratifying character to play in the third game. Added to that, the gameplay is a lot different than TW2, much more fun, and anything but sluggish (with all the different potions and toys available to you, the game is somewhat more tactical than you might expect - it's very fun, in any case). The world design is bangin.' Super fun to explore. A lot of beautiful scenery. Actual huge city to run around in. Etc.
I only just picked up the series this past summer, on account of TW3 looking terrific, and with the exception of the first game, I wasn't disappointed, especially with TW3. Try the third one. There's a good chance you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah but if I was not utterly disappointed with DAI, I probably won't be curious. I needed a fix badly. I would never bash a game I have not played like FO4. I watched some lps and I'm pretty sure I won't play it, but I kept on watching anyway because the male wanderer's voice makes me drop me bloomers. I won't mind him voicing the next DA/ME male LI.
