My dog walker called me and told me my download was at around 52% a few minutes ago, so that's actually decent for my internet. If it keeps going at this rate, I should be good at or shortly after midnight. I am so excited! Honestly, it feels like Christmas.

The size of Toussaint compared to Velen/ No Man's Land.

GOG says that it will be available for "full download on May 30, 2016". There is also a timer with 1 hour, 52 minutes left on it.

Still haven't gotten around to DA 2 or DA:I so I still don't really have anything to add to this thread.

I could swear that CDPR had previously claimed that Blood and Wine would offer 20+ hours of additional gameplay... but that number has now gone up to 30+ hours.

If they manage to pull off 30+ hours of high quality, story focused content they'd beat a lot of full AAA games that cost three times the price of the expansion.

Omg why didn't anyone tell me that you're going to be able to dye your gear in the new dlc? And 90 new quests, 40 new points of interests and 30 new weapons? I am all flustered.

Damn, it's now that I wish I had have thought to configure remote access so I could remote into my machine and hit the download button. Would have just about been good to go upon arriving home from work.

Ah well enjoy :)

One of the changes mentioned was the possible inclusion of a Pause function within an inventory menu, I believe.

could pause function mean you could be interested in purchasing? I know the issues of profanity are a detriment for you, but the majority of those issues are optional. I would honestly be happy if there was gameplay functionality provided that worked for you, despite/regardless of objectionable content.

I would love if he played. I would definitely give more validation to his criticism if he did and as you say, the "objectionable" content is large in part optional and no worse than what you'd see in Inquisition.

Hey remember when I said the witcher 1 sucked, and then I played the whole thing start to finish and it still sucked?

It was worth it to be able to say authoritatively "I'm right because I know."

Lol yes, I remember and exactly. At least you tried it though! It's one thing to say a game isn't your cup of tea, but to never touch it and spend hundreds of posts so diligently discussing it is a bit...odd. At least if he gave it a go, there would be a foundation for his campaign.

Within ten minutes you get a significant decision. Classic CDPR, feels like TW2 again. The visuals really are better. I almost cried when I meditated till night in Toussaint, knowing the night won't look like that in the base game. They've done a few things with the visuals that I can't put my finger on, but damn it looks good. Dialog is spot on, and we get a smart conflict with the knights errant. All in the first hour.

Have you tried it? I have it downloaded, just logged into the game and the title screen has changed, plus I got a message pop up about how to start it. You might be good to go.

I'm East coast US. PC, though.

Nice - glad you're in!

I aced a practice exam tonight, so that's my justification for running in and playing for a bit. Just for a half hour or so, because I do need to go to bed.

Also, I'm a liar and this is a terrible idea.

There are no words to describe how beautiful this DLC is. No words.
