Feedback... be more like The Witcher 3

I would love if he played. I would definitely give more validation to his criticism if he did and as you say, the "objectionable" content is large in part optional and no worse than what you'd see in Inquisition.
As would I.
I have to disagree about it being optional though. You have no control over the Npcs swearing. He also objects to the gore, which also isn't optional and in quite an abundance
Honestly, if you know a game isn't for you, don't play it. It's a simple as that. The Witcher series isn't for everybody.
I just don't take his opinions seriously. Just like I don't take people seriously when they scream "CDPR R misogynists!" and other ridiculous claims.

I just hate the new look of the crafted armors from vanilla TW3.
I don't mind the new vibrant colour, I just hate that they've for some reason removed a lot of details, just to accomodate the new dye system. (scratches, texture etc.)

This is based on a couple of hours of play, but it honestly feels more optimized in Toussaint. In the first two boss fights the frame rate just sings. No hitches at all. On PC here.
Edit- that bruxa is a beeotch.

Is it me or did they change the collar of the mastercrafted wolf armor so that there's no clipping?
Nope still clipping.

could pause function mean you could be interested in purchasing? I know the issues of profanity are a detriment for you, but the majority of those issues are optional. I would honestly be happy if there was gameplay functionality provided that worked for you, despite/regardless of objectionable content.

No; not worth my investment.

Have fun, ya jerks. I have a certification exam to study for, so I can't even touch it till next weekend, earliest.
We'll be thinking about you while we're killing vampires and giant centipede things, collecting our Skellige decks, drinking wine made from our vineyards, and seducing Toussaint women. ![]()

That's perfectly fine.. if you know a game isn't for you. I walk away from a lot of game ideas. I just don't understand talking about it afterwards. Especially if you're not trying to be convinced.

I don't understand it either. If there is a game I have no interest in, I don't give it a second thought.
From what I can gather, TW3 represents everything that he objects to so perhaps he can't comprehend why other people seem to love it so much. I also think it's a case of crafty trolling "within forum rules".

I can understand being upset at a game's success (if I don't like it), but you eventually have to drop it. I don't like 99% of mmos, for one.. but to each their own. That's their loss. Not mine. ![]()
I barely like DAI.. but I stick with it because I like DA in general. I don't really get in DAI specific discussions.

Why would you be upset by a game's success though? Is it a case of worrying that based on said game's success every other I.P will try to imitate, resulting in less games you like? (hypothetically speaking, that is)
The only MMO I like is Star Wars: The Old Republic. The rest can go die in a fire though.

The only MMO I like is Star Wars: The Old Republic. The rest can go die in a fire though.I used to be concerned that gaming was going in the direction of MMO and microtransactions, but CDPR has restored my faith in solid single player experiences that are (more than) good value for money.
I haven't played swtor (messed with the cc once).. I heard good things about it.
As for your question, it's not really something that lingers for me. Only in DA's case am I worried about imitation. Because it's a series... I don't want the next game to be like DAI. For one, I hope they strike some balance with the world and cities, like DAO did. I don't care if other games imitate it though..... but I doubt they will.

No, from what I have seen (and I have been here for a while) it's just good ol' fashioned fanboyism. He most likely thinks we are being unfair to his (as he said it himself once) game he considers perfect - DAI. But hey, that's okay.
What is considerably less okay or at least a bit weird is that he so furiously tracks this thread for any sign of perceived slight or injustice againts DAI or mistakes any sort of praise for TW3 as a shot at it.
If you say you liked something better in TW3 over DAI, he'll be there 70% of the time trying to disprove your opinion and then also add something about not buying the game, even though no one asked him most of the time. It's just a pattern at this point and most people already ignore him.
He can still be quite reasonable at times though. Just don't badmouth DAI in front of him or else. ![]()

I did. My deck is pretty much complete now (with extra decks for Nilfgaard and Northern Kingdoms). ![]()

Isn't that the whole point of the thread topic though?
I thought it was a case of people wanting to see in DA what they saw in TW3. Mainly how the quests are done and the open world, etc.
Especially since most of DAI's criticisms (even from people who enjoyed the game, I might add) are to do with those two things: open world and quests as opposed to actual story content.
It doesn't have to be a war between between BW fans and CDPR fans. At least for "mature" people, at any rate

As for your previous post, I don't think you have to worry about the next DA being like Inquisition. BW always change up their game formulas.
Add to that the intriguing lore bomb, I have faith.

Yeah, same! Come to think of it, I don't really need the additional download code so - if it's within forum rules - I'd gladly pass it on to one this threads regular contributors if they haven't already purchased the DLC. I'm playing on PS4.

Just to be sure, the code won't be used until after I buy something with it right? I just tried to redeem it for kicks but didn't hit order or anything yet because I realized I don't need another set of decks.
In case it still works, I could add another code to your giveaway as well.
