I wouldn't want games to be exact, feature for feature either.

But I don't think most people meant any feature. They're usually talking about the side quests. And that's something Bioware themselves has been good at before. All CDPR is doing is being a better Bioware. lol. They've not only combined narrative and open world elements better.. but they did a focused/voiced protagonist better. These are things Bioware is trying too... just not as well.

Yah. Because people are screaming for profanity and sexual contents on those "inclusions". I don't recall anyone doing it, but since they are the tw3 content you're strongly opposed on, then  we'd have to dig up the thread.

Some seem to believe this is all I oppose. So to refresh memories, I also prefer fewer cut-scenes and full Pause mechanics. I also like more Quickslots than either game appears to provide, more control over the Main creation process, and fewer weapon restrictions. Etc.

Pause and excessive objectionable content are my reasons for not purchasing TW3, but there is more than that to my inclusive nature to this thread.

DAI had too few cutscenes, imo. I like that when I trigger a conversation I "feel" like it's a conversation and not the "accidently step away and end the conversation" feel of DAI. It was weird, but maybe because I rely on lip reading and not focusing in a face is foreign to me. But yeah, DA future needs more cutscenes.

Also, why do you feel like it's your job to set people straight on what they want included in future games? Why do you feel the need to police and oppose?

It isn't like Bioware is going to be like, "Dude, scratch that f-word and stick a bra on that love-interest! Elhanan won't approve!"

Because it's the forums for Bioware and not another company; prefer their games. I also have been granted the privilege to post here, and myself and others requested some of these changes (eg; fewer cut-scenes than ME3).

Regis is the new bro. They nailed him. His speech and mannerisms and everything. We get more conversation options now, and I actually had to think about his big question to me in the graveyard. It seems straightforward to say no...but this is the Witcher's world, and to not be a witcher wouldn't exactly be pleasant either. Not many can look after themselves better than a witcher. I love Corvo Bianco. I just want to stroll around and watch people work, lol. Whoever had the idea of Geralt inheriting a vineyard deserves a promotion.

I didn't pick that up. They nerfed the one shot kill with the crossbow underwater though :(

Well that sucks.
As much as I love the game I wouldn't exactly say that underwater combat is the games strong point

There's an upside to it all. Most of the gear you find can be broken down into dimetrium ores or draconid leather, so i wasn't disappointed, but it's very boring.

10/10 will clear again.

It was actually pretty relaxing because the music and scenery is a treat.

I think I might have just sold a lot of it rather than dismantle. I honestly don't remember. But the weird thing is that I don't have very much cash to show for it. You'd think after clearing all POI I'd be rolling in it. I paid for the rune dude outright, but otherwise I think I'm sitting on like 20 or 30k. More than I'll likely ever need, but a lot less than some people seem to have put away.

Whatever you say. It just seems if you don't want these features, that you'd express that in the forums for future games, like the ME4 one or in the DAI forum where they discuss what they do/do not want in DA4, but whatever grabs your jollies, man.

On a different note: Corvo Bianco is glorious. Yep, can definitely see Triss and I frolicking in the vineyard during summer. This dlc has been one pleasure after another. I honestly would expect to pay WAY more than we did. When I look back on other dlc's that were more expensive than this and offer less content, I shake my head. I hope more than just Bioware can take some hints.

Dismantling gear with relic tier materials was expensive. I had around 69k, and after  dismantling only half of the loot with dimeritium in them i had 30k left. I cleared every accessible house in Velen/Novigrad of items, and sold excess materials in order to reach that amount.

This dlc is so massive. I am suppose to be meeting Regis at the cemetery, but I keep getting off track and somehow managed to make it across the map and no where near my quest. Everything is just so beautiful! The back drops in this game just staggers me.

Bingo.  They are giving us more content than a lot of full release games do.  Not only that, but it's content that is arguably better than the main game.  How many games have people arguing that the DLC is better than the main game?  I can't think of many at all.

I hear you.  I am having trouble focusing on anything.  I just want to wander around and look at stuff.  It's all just so gorgeous.

Oh, and holy crap playing against the Skellige decks makes me wanna tear my hair out at times.  It's freaking evil man!

I only just managed to run into Regis, but I'm impressed to no end already. Just getting to Toussaint to see a knight charging a windmill, only to have Golyat burst through it... so Don Quijote. Heck, I stared at the main menu for minutes just to listen to that song again.

And no one was screaming for more profanity, less quickslots or no pause functions either, just better quests/stories/world building. So I don't know what got yer knickers in a twist and lead this anti witcher crusade.

If you haven't played the game then why are you posting the mechanics you think are required for it? Pause function... don't make me laugh.

First Witcher had it and it barely served any purpose since you could just hotkey all the options you had available.

The combat is vastly different in all games, pause would ruin the flow, speed and movement in TW3. One of the few issues a lot of people had in 2nd game is that Geralt was way to slow with swords, he is suppost to be fast as hell like in the novels and TW3 fixed that.

Except you now have a Pause or Slow option function in the Inventory menu now, I believe; see last Patch notes.

Not anti-Witcher; anti-content in Witcher.

So, I downloaded the DLC yesterday only to discover that I'd somehow managed to inadvertently delete my saves. I had hoped to experience Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone during my first NG+ jaunt through this wonderful game, but am having to start over. Still excited mind.

In Regis I trust. P.S. Anyone find one of Regis's old friends looks exactly like the lady in  'A night to remember'?
