Regis is the new bro. They nailed him. His speech and mannerisms and everything. We get more conversation options now, and I actually had to think about his big question to me in the graveyard. It seems straightforward to say no...but this is the Witcher's world, and to not be a witcher wouldn't exactly be pleasant either. Not many can look after themselves better than a witcher. I love Corvo Bianco. I just want to stroll around and watch people work, lol. Whoever had the idea of Geralt inheriting a vineyard deserves a promotion.

Yup tonnes of references to Geralt's hansa. Regis is as authentic as a book character could be, and his dialogues with Geralt are really well done.

I guess, personally i find the Continent quite dull compared to Thedas and Azeroth, but different strokes for different folks. Meaning i like Geralt and his story, but i am not that invested in the lore of the setting.

Tendencies are, they are just as big fans of WoW as I have read somewhere that they're fans of DAO. I don't see hate on them?. I for one went down the nostalgia lane when I read the Leeroy and Thedas part. I think they only do easter eggs on the games/series/movies they like.

While I would agree that both Thedas and Azeroth have better and richer lore, I don't find Witcher's lore dull. It just needs expanded on I think, because there is a lot of interesting things in there, just needs fleshed out. Obviously though they focus a lot more on Geralt's personal lore rather than the world's lore.

Okay, now let's be fair there have totally been people asking for Bioware to have Witcher-like sex scenes. Any thread about romances have had it mentioned at least once if not become an entire conversation.
And there was a profanity thread in the MEA forums asking if it should be in the game or not, and many said yes and even some pointed to the Witcher franchise as an example of it done right.

Personally speaking though, those love scenes would be optional and DAI already has explicit love scenes and profanity and gore and he played that game without issue.

No, he's complained about those being in DAI as well, just in that case he was able to mitigate it. For example not engage in a romance with a mandatory sex scene, not bringing along people who swear, and gore can be turned off. That plus DAI being more sparse in those compared to the Witcher anyway.
Yeah, I will concede that profanity and gore aren't as unavoidable, but sex scenes are entirely optional. Either way, no one here has asked for such things. The things peole are requesting here are legitimate story, technical and mechanics aspects. So, I am not sure what he is rallying for regarding his personal beliefs. He is here to white knight. I only go to this thread and Alistair gush thread ( because Alistaaaaaaiir) for a while now. And I don't see anyone asking for sex scenes. 90% of the time it comes up is when Elhanan decides to grace us with his presence. The rest is about Shiani's hamfisted romance scene

It was a fine romance if you actually wanted to romance her, I guess. It was terrible if you didn't. Geralt goes in for a kiss completely unprompted by the player, and the subsequent option to turn her down renders the whole scene ridiculous and makes Geralt look bipolar.

Gosh, i hope not! I'm not that far into the game yet. Just a few side quests, a lot of gwent and scavenger gear. Im on the spoon now

I will tell you--and you know because you live in the east, (I live more to the south actually) but this heat is killing me. Everything you do makes you exhausted because the humidty sucks the life force from your body. I have been falling asleep early every night when all I want to do is play my dlc. I hate grown up life!
