He just called himself mature. The irony in that is so high that I could reach Mars.

When did I apply this to myself? Again, more assumption; less comprehension.

Wander the streets of a city all you wish. It was still the same long and winding, tedious road that brought you there. And the fact that you failed to notice NPC's that fit the louts that are still in the game does not equate to them not being there.

And while cards certainly apply to the infamous sex cards of TW1, there is also Gwent in TW3.

Oh Jesus Christ. What is wrong with Gwent? And dont try to say you lumped the gwent cards in the same pile as the "unicorn". Is that what you're going to say, that you meant Gwent all along--or is Gwent going to be the new complaint?

Also, don't tell me what I have failed to notice in a game that I have spent 300+ hours in. You need to worry how much you've missed on Youtube, since you can't even get your facts right. Tedious road? I have enjoyed every mile. Maybe you've mistaken it with the Hinterlands.

Would rather spend time in the Hinterlands again knowing there were many other areas available, than riding along with a fish bowl view of the same flora and fauna to get there.

My objection to Gwent is the use of profanity there, too; uncertain if there are images of concern as I dislike mini-games as a rule. But objectionable material does seem to be a 'common' thread.

Fish bowl view, is it?

Same view of flora and fauna?

This is from one of the devs at Witcher 3.

We’ve used around 20 species of large trees and bushes, and from a handful up to over a dozen different models for each species. Apart from that we’ve used 40 grass varieties and upwards of a dozen different types of subaqueous plants. All of that is supplemented with a range of other types of vegetation, including blooming plants, creepers and vines, organic debris, and vegetables – a handful of different models for each. Lootable herbs are a separate subset, numbering around 50 varieties.

Care to tell us how many varieties of flora and fauna are in DAI, great defender? While you're at it, how many species of trees and plants? How many different models? How many lootable and usable plants?

The extreme FOV for Witcher Sense default seemed horrendous; much prefer the modded versions I have seen.

As far as diverse plant life, don't care. It rolls on by on that long, long dirt road endlessly. Be it the same plant type or not, the overall view is a seemingly dull one.

Well, just got back after a few weeks of inactivity... and I see nothing has really changed here. Including our resident crusader.

Anyway, to lighten the mood a bit:

(Slight, possible B&W spoiler ahead. :P )

Oh, I'd gladly post more Triss stuff.

...but I am not sure if you'd appreciate it very much. The artist is very... pro-Yennefer. :P

Elhanan, I'm disappointed. You've been going on about Wild Hunt this entire time and still haven't developed an informed opinion by playing the damn game?

I fail to distinguish between Witcher 3 bait threads and actual emulation threads.

This is a legit one, despite it also being an anti-BioWare wankfest.

That's the thing though, not a lot of people do that. Saying, "I don't like feature B in DAI." isn't really being anti-Bioware. I would even wager to say 60% or so doesn't even compare a whole lot between the two as one being bad and one being good. Mostly it is someone talking about a particular mission or feature they like and then *someone* brings up DAI, causing the replies to be comparative. It usually goes like this:

User A: I really love the purple flowers in TW3.
User B: DAI had purple flowers too.
User A: No, they didn't.
User B: Well, The Witcher's purple flowers are vulgar, so it matters little that DAI has them when their turnips are better anyway.

Then it goes into a discussion about orange flowers and green turnips when purple flowers were the original target. I wouldn't say the majority is anti-Bioware, as I would say they are disenchanted.

It only seems that way because Elhanan is very good at eliciting precisely the reaction he's shooting for. There's some obsequious fanboy tribalism on both sides, but it's mostly genial conversation.

This is a good thread.

This is a pretty accurate assessment. Have to admit though, sometimes it's fun to let your hair down and get Elahan to show his true colors. Since I am guilty in that regard, I have to drink some of the blame.

This is exactly why you need to read all books, Triss da traitor is one of the most selfish and horrible one in books.

I'm not sure we can really regard the tie-in prequel novels as "canon."

Well, it's not the weirdest match you'll find in fan fiction, I'll give you that.

Changing the subject, Regis and Spoiler Alert's outfits looked really cool, but I've gotta think that the design was somewhat inspired by the vampire armor in Skyrim - which I also thought was damn handsome looking armor. Anyone else see it?

Lol oh you!

In my canon, Triss and Geralt are happy and adopted a mini schnauzer and have Ciri 'round for tea and play dirty Scrabble at night. Yeah, that's how I role.
