Someone made a mod for Origins that gave characters with light skin dark skin, and that honestly disgusted me as much as the reverse. I would never dream of changing Vivians skin colour, just as much as I would never dream of changing Morrigans skin colour, so you cant claim offence at one while arguing that the other is acceptable. Either theyre both acceptable, or none of them are acceptable. But there does seem to be an odd double standard when it comes to people with light skin, or people who are heterosexual, where people can do things with them they would never dream of doing with any other character. If it is offensive to change someone who isnt white or straight, then its offensive to change someone who is the opposite. Drop the double standards, because its still offensive regardless.
Vivienne had light skin originally, and is perfect the way she is now.
Sera had dark skin originally, and is perfect the way she is now.
Cullen was bi originally, and is perfect the way he is now.
Aveline is amazing as she is, and does not need a pretty mod.
Cassandra is my canon Inquisitors canon romance, and she does not need to be made more feminine.
Perfect, as, they, are.
Respect the characters, respect who they are, and respect their wishes, because to change them is to show that you never truly liked or respected who they were to begin with.
