If so, I thoroughly approve.
Do you approve of Jack from Mass Effect? Because I sure do.

I do! ![]()

That's actually a cool image. I like that image. Very much.

Jack really should have been a bisexual LI.

Maybe you could make a mod about it.
I know people might oppose it if Jack were suddenly confirmed to be bisexual, but yours would be just a mod.
So don't worry.

Im not interested in using mods like that, but Jack did mention that she had been with women in ME2.

I'm not interested in using mods like that either... even though, it's impossible for me to use mods like that anyway. But I'm fine with Jack being a male only love interest. I'm fine with everyone being set as they are, in fact.
Cassandra certainly is not, even if she could be. Hell, if it was fanfiction, she'd probably read it.

Getting a confused, unconvinced wolf for carelessly slapping that opinion of yours onto the BSN.

She had been in a threesome. Is not exactly the same as being Bi. ![]()

It is if the threesome involves you pleasuring a member of your own gender. ![]()

Yes she was didn't like it. As Sera would say: Not my think. ![]()

Ti's a shame, nothing wrong with a little... experimentation. XD
Sweet! Now they only need to make a bi Sera mod, straight Dorian mod, white Vivienne mod and female Krem mod. Then I can finally have my fictional characters the way I want them.

Are you guys still trying to get the most controversial **** out there? David Gaider already said he doesn't care what people do to the characters, just FYI
If you like the idea of living your life the way you want to without any arbitrary restrictions based on your preferences/sexuality/whateverthefuck you're kinda being a wee bit hypocritical if you get all up in arms about a mod.
If people want it, fine. Anybody can mod the game however they wish. If that's what they want to change the game to, that's their lookout. That's their right. It *is* their game.
I dunno, though. I prefer my own game to be roughly the way the designers and writers intended it. So a purely straight Cassandra for me, and a purely gay Sera and Dorian too. I just don't see any of those three as being anything other than that.
I'm personally not offended by mods unless they are specifically driven by hateful rhetoric (as in, 'Here's a mod to fix Dorian of his deviancy' or 'Here's an attractive Vivienne mod' (which is just a palate swap to a blond) nonsense). People can mod their game all they want; it doesn't make anything they do matter beyond their own world state. And even the mods that I think are questionable.... they don't affect me. They clue me in on people with questionable thinking in my opinion, but they don't affect me. I personally won't use them because I think it takes away, rather than adds, from the game. So I don't "support" a bisexual Cass mod anymore than I do a bisexual Cullen or bisexual Dorian mod. But I don't care if others use them.
I will never understand why people care so much about how other people play their game. In an MMO? Maybe, because I might have to see/be affected by it. In a single player game? Nope. None of my concern.

He did a great post that should really put some minds at ease...

Yup! That's the one I was referring to but I guess even "word of god" or word of the creator who mods are "disrespecting" isn't enough.
So I guess people just like to get butthurt because other people are enjoying mods and exploring more possibilities than the non-modders are? Or maybe they're jealous console players.

To be fair it is the best thing that could have come out of this thread.

It's the hypocristy I've seen on this matter in the past that made me take such a negative stance towards these kind of mods. I never paid any mind to the "make Isabela white" or whatever mods for dragon age 2, but I saw many, many people who went on colossal rants about them only to start praising mods that changed the availibility of straight of LI's so that they could romance them five minutes later. Same with artwork that lightens the skintone of darker skined characters to any extent.
As long as people don't have an issue with those kind of mods/alterations either It's a non-issue, but in my experience that's usually not the case.
I think people are free to mod and that mods don't take representation away for example (that some argues they do), since it just affects those who mod the game not "real" version of the game. However I think some mods are bad taste and people have freedom to comment on them and dislike them. I wouldn't go as far as harassing someone though and sending them anonymous hate messages, that's just pathetic.
