If you should die in Ferelden Castle and no one is around to revive you crawl toward a hole or off the side of a bridge so that you fall into the bottom of the game map to be automatically revived.

Aww now that the secret it out, Bioware will "fix" it like they did with dots/mines etc resurrecting you after you die on the necro and alchemist etc (well it still works but now that rezz counts towards your 3 rezzes a match)

As long as nobody tells them that the Avvar can resurrect himself with HoK rings and Lady's Wrath, I'm fine.

Skywatcher is far from the only character that can self revive. It's been happening likely since DA:I, so I don't know why you're singling him out. Does he allow for consistent self revives somehow?

yeah i do that too.
and you get rid of the aggro a lot of the time

This trick also works in the end of zone room for teleports.
open the end of zone door then anyone can jump off a cliff and be teleported to the entry door to next zone.

Four times? Self revives allow you to get around the three downs limit?

Well that's kind of awesome. I hope it doesn't get nixed, as I like the idea of getting a second wind from the bleed out state.

this. Some holes won't revive you and you'll fall through the map and incapacitate yourself to death

New caltrops +hok ring are the best thing for self revives ever, throw them down in a narrow area before you die, and get a res when any enemy foolishly walks through them.

I have to wonder if the devs did this on purpose to allow us an escape route in a pinch. Whatever the case, very nifty trick! ![]()

I notice the same with the Alchemist. Equip a dagger that has HoK properties (I'm not sure if it works the same with a HoK ring, too, as I still don't have one *sigh*) and throw out the jellybeans... erm, I mean, the Elemental Mines... and if an enemy steps on one and dies while you're crawling around, it somehow activates the HoK effect (or Heal on Hit, which has worked for resurrection, too) and you're on your feet again for free. ![]()

My Assassin self revived yesterday when I was too slow to get away from a Revenants swings (you'd think that you'd be able to stab it more than just once before having to flee away from it, but nooo). I think it was because I had the Jocasta's Revenge and Walking Death daggers - the Walking Death triggered continuous spirit damage to the Revenant, and when Argent went down it continued to take spirit damage so the Jocasta's heal on hit gave her back a sliver of health. Needless to say, I stayed the hell out of its range afterwards.

yep, pretty handy. the other day as Avvar on FC, teammates all down. LoS enemies through a doorway, picking them off. Eventually get nailed by too many archers, fall, but Lady's Wrath pulls off a kill and I revive, and this happened I think twice more, but managed to finish the level, then we wiped. ![]()

Only to be downed again 5 seconds later.

Lady Jocasta's Revenge gives heal on hit. As soon as an enemy steps on a mine it will revive you, regardless of whether it dies from it.

I used to use this trick with bow of cruel redemption on my hunter.
