I've never gone quite so far into stealth as a strategy before. I used to just get decoy and max it and call it a day. Not this time. This time, I'm going to be a stealth MACHINE. I have the back-to-back ability that makes you stealth when you use it, I have the actual stealth abilities and its upgrades, and I'm going to get decoy when I'm high enough level and max it too. I'll be able to spend up to a full 35 seconds in stealth if I would ever need to. Basically, I plan to pretty much be impossible to ever target. Put up decoy and hit enemy backs, stealth when I'm targeted, hit everyone with hail of arrows, stealth again when aggro'd, probably put up a decoy again shortly after. I am not taking subtlety, I shouldn't ever be un-stealthed long enough to get targeted for more than a few seconds.
This build is going to be a survival build. I'll always be no more than 5 seconds away from being able to stealth and safely shed aggro, I'll be like a shadowy wraith that just flits in and out of view all over the battlefield. Hawke will be a the most impressive example of the shadow specialization that Thedas has ever seen. I am slightly less capable offensively than most rogues, my archery tree (and dual wielding tree I guess) will definitely not be maxed... But I think it's worth it. Besides, being in stealth all time does mean I'll be like a physical incarnation of critical hits.
