1. Just out of curiosity, how many of you still dislike/hate Mass Effect 3's ending and/or have other problems with ME3?

2. Do Bioware employees actually listen to the forums? And if so, does anyone else in Bioware actually hear about it? I ask this because I'm relatively new to the Bioware forums, and the most I've seen from Bioware employees is the occasional comment on threads they've started for people to discuss topics in.

1.  Not I!

2.  Yes, they definetly do.  And Twitter, too.  They've Tweeted to my profile before, and I've seen them post on the forums around here.

1) I got over the ending. I just accepted the head cannon that Shepard was indoctrinated and thus choose control.

2) They read the forums for feedback, but they RARELY reply.

1) I didn't like the ending (lack of emotion, lack of feeling of achievement, numerous logical problems, crossed the science fantasy line) but I really loved most of the game. I think the extended cut was an improvement, but it is hard to tell too much when you had already thoroughly examined the original ending.

2) They definitely do read feedback and in particular some of the forum. No idea how many people from Bioware do or many different posts they read though. I do imagine some of them read the more interesting ones but they rarely reply.

1) I like the destroy ending. The others........no

2) I'm sure Bioware employees read the forum from time to time.  A couple employees post on the twitter thread occasionally.

1- Definitely. Bad writing is bad writing, no matter how much time has passed.

2- Not as much as they used to. The Dragon Age devs have largely abandoned these forums and the Mass Effect devs hardly ever post here.

1) I never hated Mass Effect 3's ending.

2) Bioware is definitely aware of these forums. They occasionally tweet about things that are happening on here and answer questions if they can.

1) I never disliked/hated the endings. I always loved how ME3 ended.

2) Yes they do. Thankfully, they don't listen to everything that is said on here.

1) Could've been worse (almost was) and far less interesting.  I'll take it over numerous alternatives.

2) They keep an eye on it, but the folks around here tend to be a little ... abrasive, which keeps them from interacting as much anymore.

1. The MEHEM is the official ending. If you don't have a PC and can't mod you are doing it wrong.

2. I'm sure they poke their heads in from time to time. Do they care about what's posted or act on it? Definitely not.

1) I have always been indifferent to the ending, I thought it could have been better, but I have thought that about numerous games.

2) The forums are monitored and feedback is collected and sorted, just don't expect a developer to respond.  BioWare employees stopped interacting directly on the official boards (you probably will see them converse more on the off-topic) because it is distracting to the thread and causes it to go off-topic.  That and their comments here have been cropped and edited to the point of saying something of a completely different intent then they intended.

1: Never hated it. And after seeing all the alternative ending ideas floating around here, I came around to actually liking what we got; things could have been far worse.

2: Yeah, they read it, and datamine it too.

I'm one of the rare ones who doesn't have a problem with the ending even before the extended cut dlc.

If they didn't listen to the community, you wouldn't have Prothey the Prothean being in the game.  Or Tali talking about her suit and sweat in the Citadel DLC.

The extended cut is also them listening to the community.

I find the EC endings okay but I still have issue's with the execution of them, the dev's do listen to forum feedback but they when they do post in the forums its during their own time.

1. With the Extended Cut I'm fine with the ending now.  And I say "ending" because I only ever choose Destroy.  Choosing Control or Synthesis is when the ending gets ruined.  I also do the Citadel DLC party after the ending, so with that I'm finally at ease with it.  But anyway, I think the opening hour is far, far weaker than the closing hour.

2. Game devs on the whole have abandoned the forums and moved to social media.

1. The game itself is excellent. The ending stung hard at the beginning, but EC and time healed that. My problems with the game are:

- The lack of more enemy factions

- The game is too quiet. Too many times the level lacked soundtrack, and thats a shame because ME3's soundtrack is the best in the series IMO. As a result the game doesn't feel as alive as ME2.

- No epic boss fights, I still remember fondly the Vanguard vs Tela Vasir battle in ME2, nothing came close in ME3.

2. The community at times tend to be toxic, just look at the PC concerns thread for DAI. They aren't replying as they used to, probably also they read less those forums than they used to. But they do read.

Hate is too strong. I didn't even felt angry, but confused. Until I asked myself "Does this make sense?" The answer was and still is no.

I guess the employees are like me, they read a lot but post little on the forums.

1) I never had a problem with the original endings, they could have been better for sure, but I still found them enjoyable.

2) I'm sure they do look around the forums, but a lot of the threads on these forums can be pretty toxic at times, so it doesn't exactly encourage Devs to chime in on threads when they could potentially get harassed over how they are supposedly "ruining" the ME universe, the "terrible endings," or whatever some people still complain about these days.

1. Nope. As for other problems, there are a few - notably bugs, treatment of the Rachni and low amount of content for ME2 romances

2. Yes, they do. I've seen at least three comment here.
