So i know that attributes can't be raised but only through passsives and gear.

That mean that attributes will remain 10 across the board if let say i will strip the character from any gear, and choose no passives?

If so, basically i should pick my followers by personal pref (voice, looks) and their race-to-class (because of the bonus).

Is that true? if i will take a level 10 black wall (he's the other tank right?) and level 10 cassandra, both with no passives and no gear, their attributes (and effectivenes in any combat) will be just the same?

one last question: i'm getting the feeling that every fight, especially the first ones (around the crossroads with templars and mages) is getting out of my hands.

My party is all scattered and i'm running around tryng to help them. this really sucks. any advice??

thank you all!

I am pretty sure that you get attribute points added automatically to main attributes. For mages it is Magic and Willpower. The amount you get depends on your race, I think. Elven mages get more magic than willpower and Humans get more willpower than magic, etc...

As for tips, all I can tell you is to get your warriors gear that adds to Constitiution and get them Combat Roll and set it to preferred in tactics. You should also set war cry to preferred so they get lots of Guard. Combat Roll helps them get away from AOE attacks and Brutes with hammers and guard absorbs damage. You should also take out any Archers and Mages first as they do the most damage to your party.

Characters do get automatic attribute points at level up for their primary attributes.

As to combat, try to utilize damage mitigation such as barriers for mages, guard for warriors, stealth for rogues. Also, for more detailed control, use the tactics mode during combat.
