Basically title, the question is if I have a biotically primed target and the biotic primer gets overwritten by a tech primer, does the warp ammo damage bonus for primed targets still apply?

The target is still primed with Biotics, so I would assume so.

 

It's like the Stack in Magic the Gathering, if you're familiar with that.  Basically it would look like this:

 

Disruptor Rounds Primer Effect (applied 2nd)

Warp Primer Effect (applied 1st)

 

In this example, Warp did not get "overwritten", it's just that the Disruptor Ammo stacked on top of it.  So presumably Warp Rounds would still get their bonus, since the Warp Primer is still there.

 

Also, as far as detonations go, if you have a Biotic-only Power, such as Reave, it will go down the Stack looking for the first valid combo, and detonate it.  So in the above example, Reave would encounter Disruptor Primer, check that it cannot interact with it, then proceed down the stack, encounter Warp, verify the combo, and then detonate it.

 

If you have an ambiguous Detonator, like Throw, you can detonate both combos in succession by casting Throw twice.

Thx for the fast response, I am aware how the primers interact with each others in terms of explosions, I am just not sure with the ammo as it seems to vary ingame, but that could also be just a primer timing out or misleading visual effects sometimes...

From using warp ammo on the Turian sentinel, using overload after warp doesn't seem to cancel out the extra damage from warp ammo.

Disruptor Rounds win everything everytime they are fired.  I sometimes get double explosions when I use The Huntress w Krysae w..Incid ammo..I get double booms...I would Cloak/Dark Channel/ShootShoot/Warp  ..On the first warp I get the fire explosion..then I throw a second warp and get the Biotic splosion...Once in a while I get both at the same time  (very rare)..that is beautiful.
