I'd probably sit there and smoosh those boobs all day.
Kojima rocks.

Wait, a scantily-clad action figure of Quiet with squishy breasts?
That's hilarious! I'm not really a fan of MGS or Kojima, but kudos to him for being a weird dude who doesn't give a crap what others think.

I like that she links to Tumblr too, of all places.
Because you're not a third-wave feminist unless you use Tumblr.

She's gonna use Quiet in one of her videos. Probably one that comes out in 2036.

After taking several hundred thousand more in donations after promising to make more videos, despite never actually making any new videos.

Anyway, I'm not a collector of figurines, action figures, dolls or whatever. I assume the squeezable feature isn't a common thing? I'm...just at a loss as to the big deal. These are gonna stay in packaging or be put up on a shelf somewhere, yes? So whats the point?

She promotes sexist imagery. It's Kojima's way of chasing women out of gaming Anita provided the proof.

She's promotes sexist imagery.
Speaking of which, I love how she talks about "sexist" and stereotypically "feminine" appearances for female characters, and in her videos she's wearing 10 pounds of makeup, shiny red lipstick, skinny jeans to show off her legs, and gigantic hoop earrings.
Because it's sexist and stereotypical when someone else is doing it, but it's legit when you're on it.

Lol @ keeping them in their packaging or just putting them on the shelf. So pleb tier. My brother used to come up with mini-movies when we used to play with action figures. That's where it's at.

MGS1 had a dude in a vulnerable position get beaten by a woman and have his clothes stolen leaving him naked
MGS2 had the playable character have to play through part of the game completely nude
There's probably other stuff I'm not remembering that happened to dudes in this series that involve being completely humiliated, yet no one cares;but an action figure of a female character is what sets people off?
Admittedly, I think Quiet's outfit is dumb. I'm not diggin it. But there's a difference between, "She could be dressed better" and "People are encouraged to take advantage of this"
I mean wat
Where's the fight for the male characters? If a Snake figurine had a squeezable ass, would these people be throwing a fit? Why does this always come across as one-sided and with a motive?

I mean damn I had a few action figures when I was a kid. They were of wrestlers. Of course I took them out and made them wrestle, what kid wouldn't. I don't get the keeping them in packaging thing.

This shouldn't, however, be how it is -- It shouldn't be viewed in such a fashion that only burly white dudes can feel safe from the wary hands of political correctness.
The issues are indeed political -- As much as people are afraid of stepping over the toes of people of colour, in regards to say satire or comedy, it's alright to make a joke at the expense of someone who is white, but doing it with someone who happened to be a person of colour -- Suddenly, the joke gains an entirely different meaning and society would deem it "across the line".
One shouldn't be afraid to call out a mother at Wallmart, whose kid is being rowdy, just becasuse she happened to be a woman of colour.
Neither do I believe the industry should be wary of including female characters, be it as leads, side kicks or whatever, just as long as they don't feel like they solely exist to empower any male co-leads. Elizabeth and Ellie are actually a pair of rather well-done characters -- Or Alyx from Half-Life. Unlike Samus in Other M, they aren't victims of being in a submissive relationship with a bellend, who can't make any qualified decisions of her own without having Captain ****** authorizing it first. Bayonetta is empowered by her feminity, and her personality doesn't come of as something that is being projected solely at the pleasure of someone else -- She's just generally comfortable with herself. The problem with Quiet isn't as much her characterization, as we really don't know anything about her yet (we know she's a mute, so, so much for that!), as much as it is her attire -- It just looks dumb, considerably more than previous Metal Gear characters (EVA having her ****** out in Metal Gear Solid 4 example). I feel a line needs to be drawn somewhere because otherwise it'll be hard to take anything else that Metal Gear is trying to say seriously. Ironic, considering the supposed reason for why Kojima chose to replace Hayter -- Something along the lines of wanting a stronger emotional response from Big Boss, even though he doesn't have that much dialogue in the game (apparently) and Metal Gear is still as wacky as ever. Anyway, the problem of course, is that it's just not easy. I don't believe it means we should stop trying.
Far as I'm concerned, the reason why white dudes are generally starring in your average game is because of the industry's understanding that games are marketed towards men, just as much as football is geared towards men than it is women.
Of course, the truth is that women play video games and watch/and or play football.
Heck these problems also exist on the reverse side of the field -- Examples such as mysoginists calling out on Theron's character for the new Mad Max, because.. she kicks too much ass?
