Certainly. :)

Near the end:

" I would say we've covered most of the South, I think we've covered the Chantry enough. But I do want to look more toward the North, I want to see what happens to nations like Tevinter, Rivain, and do more with the Qunari. We're going to go with the same process we did with Inquisition, which was where we have a core story idea that starts to form and drive where we're heading next... the darkspawn, they're still nowhere resolved, there's still multiple arch-demons underground waiting to be woken up by them, there's still demons on the far side of the Veil. Nobody really knows what happened to the Elves. The Tevinter Imperium is still locked in a war with the Qunari. There's so much we could do."

I'd go with Dragon Age: Cheese Famine

but honestly, I think DA4 will more likely be in 5-6 years time, not 2-3 years. It takes a long time to create a video game and they're still working on stuff for DAI.

I wouldn't necessarily count that as reason to suspect it'll be quite so far away. It could be, of course; we have no way of knowing. But as things stand, I'd be surprised. Remember that DAI was in its early stages even as DA2's DLCs were being constructed, and in planning stages prior to DA2's release. There's no such thing as total precedence when it comes to these matters, but I'd speculate that 5-6 is rather unlikely at this time, especially in the sense that I don't think EA would be remotely willing to keep the team's collective bills paid for that long on a project like this.

Very true, they did release DAI within 3 years of the previous game I thought it had been 4 years between them but that's my lack of knowledge showing. You are right about EA too, hmm. so 2-3 years time is definitely the more likely possibility as you said.

Thankyou for that :) . So it's more where the lead writer would prefer they get to base the story around not a definite yet, but definitely close enough to what area they'll touch next.

It seems like the South is so drastically different depending on the ending of DAI that it'd be hard to have the story take place there again.

Untrue!

Assassinate the Divine have whomever you had lead Orlais prop up the Chantry elect a actually suitable choice and bingo!

Things go back how they were and you have a neutral and fertile ground for the south.

You just have to do what Bioware does already.

Negate impact of choice to irrelevance.

Dragon Age: Imperium

*Fingers crossed*!

Or, maybe they'll be all weird like Microsoft Windows and go back to numbers with Dragon Age 4 (I hope not).

This kind of stuck with me and it's sort of a parody of a SWTOR title: Dragon Age: Rise of the Imperium

I think ppl would like to see the story to be with smaller scale. How about Dragon Age: Tenvinter Tales? Plus, no offense, I don't like Dragon Age: Imperium; there will be 2 DAIs. I hate coming up with new abbreviations..

While Dragon Age: Imperium is still my favorite, the abbreviation would be a problem.

Hmm.

Rebrand the current game Dragon Age: Not the Spanish Inquisition?

I think Nevarra still counts as being in the south.I'd be very interested in going North, actually. All the most interesting places sound like they are there. Although if they include the North West in that and we see the Anderfels they would still have to include the Chantry. Or is the Anderfels so super devout that they would still do their own thing regardless of what happened in Inquisition?

Hmmm. To be fair, past title installments have had a lot to do with story factors. Origins related to... well the various origins of the Warden, for one, and then Inquisition referred to the faction the story centered around. So if its story-based again, bit difficult to guess at, expeicially if Bioware goes with something unexpected or not yet seen. /isnofunatparties

Dragon Age: Black Divine - issue with this is the two word thing, since it's usually just the one... hum.

Dragon Age: Magisterium perhaps?

I'm no good at this stuff. ;D

I like the Imperium (also Invasion!) idea, but TheRacoon made a very good point - please, not another DA:I! Hehe. XD

We've been neck deep in country bumpkins for two entire games, perhaps 3 if you count the Ferelden refugees in Kirkwall.

Why not bring back The Inquisition this time, maybe now is the time for Bio. to entertain a DRAGON AGE Trilogy of games with a continued protagonist. I could see The Inquisition returning with past, and new characters and companions joining and Solas being the primary enemy. It would become a more personalized story with our Inquisitor especially if you romanced Solas. In a way it would keep it simple rather than have a whole new cast a brand new hero, a brand new this a brand new that blah blah and then just sticking Solas in and your new cast saying "who's the blank is this guy?". The bigger better Inquisition could then fight "god" Solas and his band of merry elven followers or whoever in the very end.

Just a thought.......nothing wrong with starting a DRAGON AGE Trilogy, might be pretty cool actually, they could always start with a different protagonist afterwards. I have not heard of Bio. ending The DRAGON AGE series anytime soon like they did Shepard's Trilogy.

They could bring back companions and others from Origins, DA2, and DAI for The Inquisition Solas Trilogy then after its over bring in a new protagonist, new cast, etc. for a whole new story and threat. It would be like The ME3 Citadel DLC just stretched out into three games. One last chance to be with all our favorite characters in the series in one final epic battle against one of your former companions gone mad (which MASS EFFECT never did). If Bio. made this happen I would go back and play every singe DA game from start to finish all DLC included no joke.

Don't judge my idea above to harshly folks, I mean I am trying here lol, I am sure many of you would play this. besides there are so many sucky, over hyped games out there with crap stories and endings anyway, this idea would not be any worse pffffh I mean what the heck. Just throwin it out there.
