It's nothing to DAI over! I'm sure the DAO of a perfect abbreviation will come to us soon enough. DAT would be very good indeed. We'll be like, DAM.
...and if anyone manages to successfully read my post without scratching their heads in confusion, congratulations: you, like me, often find yourself phoneticizing abbreviations.
DAI 2 ![]()
Dragon Age: The Re-Punchening
Dragon Age: Still No Dwarven Love Interests...
(Unless we can finally actually have some conclusion to the Scout Harding romance in future DLC?)
Dragon Age: Mike Hawke Returns
Dragon Age: Mike Hawke Rises
Dragon Age: Man of Steel/Iron Man (Staring Mike Hawke)
Dragon Age: Still No Dwarven Love Interests...
(Unless we can finally actually have some conclusion to the Scout Harding romance in future DLC?)
In order to get rid of the abbreviation problem...
What about Dragon Age 4: Imperium or Dragon Age IV: Imperium? So they can simply be DA4, DA4:I or DA IV..
Companies tend to shy away from numbers these days more often than not; marketers worry that it sends a message of connectivity between installments which will frustrate newcomers, and the newcomer is ever-courted. I'd be pretty surprised if they went back to it!
Artistically I like the idea that games aren't numbered, and each is its own thing in the Dragon Age. Also makes the cross media stuff seem more legit.

Abbreviations are only an issue if you're overly fond of acronyms. You could just call it Imp, or Imperium even, you don't have to pay for the extra letters with blood.

Goddammit, man, you used the obvious one. I thought I called dibs.
Dragon Age: Imperium
Dragon Age: Two Archdemons and an Arishok
Dragon Age: Executors
Dragon Age 4
Dragon Age: The North will rise again!
So are we all in agreement that the sequel will, to some degree, be set in Tevinter, and that this is a wonderful thing?
Yes..Yeees.. open the new game with a joke: "Two Archdemons and an Arishok walk into a bar.."
Dragon Age: Still No Dwarven Love Interests...

I'm afraid Scout Harding might have a thing for professor Kenric

Maybe it'll take us out of the abbreviation dark ages and people will just say Inquisition and Imperium XD
It won't be Dragon Age IV.

I'm half expecting a small portion of the forum to insist on calling it DA: Kossith to avoid confusion.
I like the OP's "Imperium" guess, but I suppose I'll throw out "Dragon Age: The Old Gods."
Your avatar made me choke on my cookies. Coryphebutt is so photogenic. Thanks for making my day
Dragon Age: Blood Wars
Dragon Age: Solas Strikes Back

Aw man, but he's done enough damage already!
