To survive and evolve, a culture must be able to look at others and incorporate what they can make use of in order to change with time. Not every culture has to do this, and by god when some cultures try to force change is the consequences horrific. But at the same time, people wouldn't be here if everyone just didn't take things from other cultures and introduce them into their own culture. It also drifts dangerously close to what racial supremacists argue, whereas they value their own races cultural purity above all else, these tumblerinas take the opposite approach and view their culture as toxic and requiring isolation. Either way, both suggest that cultures not mix, in order to create a better society.
They're the intellectual equivalent of evolution deniers, in my own opinion. Makes me wonder how many of them would be willing to actually follow what they say and give up tea and coffee. Since tea originated from the asia region and had great cultural significance to their people before the mass smuggling and spread of it thanks to imperialism, and coffee was an ethiopian product which found great cultural value in the arabian penesula, yemen specifically, before it was literally smuggled out to india by Sufi Baba Budan, an important figure in both cultures.
