Saddest: Mordin's death. The one scene that had me sobbing my eyes out...
Scariest: the Collector attack on the Normandy, when they grab the crew. Joker voiced my thoughts to a tee back then.
Scariest Part Of The ME Series?

Saddest: That one particular choice with Mordin's death.....first time I saw in on YouTube I was yelling at the screen "How could you??? How could you??", and then cried for 4 hours....used a whole box of kleenex and had a headache the next day. Husband forbid me from ever taking that option when I played. Finally did it on my last playthrough. Cried for like an hour. Dangit Mordin.
Scariest: None. But most creepy was Overlord....man, that scene makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Saddest, yeah I'd have to go with Mordin as well.
Can't really think of anything too terribly scarey, when the collextors first took people from horizon it was pretty creepy.
Most suspenseful scene for me was the landing on Ilos.

Scariest? The mission in Horizon with the reaper testing. Gives me the chills.
Another scary moment was when Grunt said he'd hold of the Rachni while Shepard escapes. I'm like "Oh god, no! Grunt is gonna die!" until he came out barely alive, but bloody as hell.

The intro sequence for either ME2 or ME3; both kinda knocked a hole in the gut of this Player.

The derelict ship with the husks in ME1 was kind of creepy, as was the mine where the missing surveyors were located. In my first playthrough, I actually got wrecked by these guys because of those lousy electrical attacks. But that mission was designed to kinda jump at you because those stupid things liked to spawn suddenly next to you.
I thought Mordin's death was kind of sad, though I felt more during his loyalty mission in ME2, because his guilt and conflicted feelings were very believable.

You mean the missing Exogeni workers?
I just did that recently... and I never paid attention to that artifact before. That was creepy. It looks like Sovereign's claw.

Saddest: To realize what an idiot mass a large portion of the player base is who could not take a hint even if it pommeled their thick skulls with both hands.
Scariest: To realize what an effect above can have on future Bioware games and their stories.
Pro-tip: When insulting the intelligence of others make sure you form coherent sentences.

I don't find anything particularly "scary", but I remember the first time I played ME3 and I eluded the reapers on the galaxy map for the first time. Was quite tense then.
Project Overlord is a little eery at first as well.
