Well, if somebody insists on being that annoying flamer user, I just take my GI Javelin or the Drellgod and kill everything before they can reach it....Any vanguard will do the trick, really.

Flamer, just like Snap Freeze and Recon Mine, can be used to the detriment/harassment of one's teammates. The sensible thing to do in these cases is to feed the offending party to a banshee/ninja crab/Bob-omb 2.0 and carry on with life.

I heartily endorse this product and/or service.
One of the more amusing things about reading BSN is the incipient schizophrenia regarding teammates. When someone talks about Sabotage it's all "I don't care about what my teammates do, I'm kiling stuff as fast as I can" and then Flamer comes up and it's all "This is something that breaks the unity of the team."

And this is what I expect from teammates when I use one of these abilities. Often they don't have to try as game karma catches me naturally so I say live and let die. Besides a good flamer player makes the game end quickly which equals more credits, quicker replacement of lost consumables, and should you find them offensive a chance to get the hell out of dodge sooner. Might be me but I would rather grumble about a flamer than wait 25 minutes for the pug determined to kite the banshee with only a predator 1 and no equipment to die.

The only two things that bother me are DC spamming, because it feels like I'm getting fucked in the ears, and RM spamming, because it's blinding.
Flamer is fine, i can just step aside if it annoys me too much.
