You need to retire from BSN. Everything you say is just plain wrong.

That has never been a reason for retirement here. I've seen more posters retire because everything they say is right.

So you see competent Drell PUG players often? Is that what you meant? Cause that's what your post implies, but my experience is just the opposite.

And LuckyTroll pls, there are 3 drell, not 2.

Have never even seen them all to count, LOL. Almost not joking. The last time I've seen a Drell was... yeah, long ago.

Yes. I'm going to assume you haven't actually played them either.

No, I know there's no point. But that's entirely irrelevant: my remark was in regard to other people playing Drell. Or, rather, failing at Drell. At least I have enough brain to not be one of those people.

No, I know there's no point. My skill is not enough to do anything meaningful with Drell on Gold and up.

The problem is you're viewing this strictly from a shields and health perspective. If you stay still with the character, you will die. If you don't kill quickly with him you will die. He has a lot of spike damage and stagger though which should be plenty to kill most spawns before you take substantial damage. Try using him and moving laterally while strafing, most enemies cannot hit you with burst fire with all the movement speed you have. If you have a stagger weapon as well it helps unless you can string headshots together consistently. Drell Adept is what I started with on Gold and honestly I feel more survivable with him than a slow tank like the Krogan.

Drell have the potential to be the most gamebreakingly OP characters in the game, but most people are bad, so drell pugs tend to be a walking 15 revive medal. Same story as with GI pugs, basically.

Drell Vanguard is the least played character above gold difficulty.

Not played by noobs because they're noobs, not played by pros because they feel bad for their teammates when they play him. Or at least I always do.

Haha so true! If you see me hosting and dusting off the DrellGod for some reason... Better go grab a sandwich, lol

There's no point yet, maybe. You can learn. Everyone here did, noone was born knowing how to play (and rock) with Drell ;)

Here, vids are better at explaining it than words, I guess.

Forgive the crappy quality, it's a very old video.

The Drell vanguard, adept and infiltrator or all amazing kits on all difficulties. Squishy sure but they compensate for that in many ways, just need to know how to play them.

I see Lucky Troll just can't avoid posting utterly pointless comments, oh well some things never change I guess.
