I'd say go for the stagger belt, +10 ranged defense isn't going to save your life in perilous anyway.

 

While the stagger belt is a valid choice, the latter statement is not true, especially with those stats. That ranged defense will make it easier keeping barrier up, and enemy archer damage down.
