Oh, how do I adore thee? Let me count the ways...

I adore the way you cheat and hack your way through a public multiplayer match...

I adore the way you ragequit if you are beaten/outscored...

I adore the way you kick players for stealing your kills...

But mostly, I adore how silly you are.

I decided to make this thread as an excuse to post a video I recorded that made me laugh. These guys were clearly not happy with how I was playing. :P

Have any stories or complaints to share about online gaming with people in pub matches? Share 'em here.

I have a lot. Mostly WoW related.

I have one I can post right now. I've posted it before, but dammit! I'll do it again.

So D3 on 360. Just got to act 4 decided to hop in a pug on my WD. Figured hey why not finish it out with some peeps. Well..........We get about half way through Silver Spire and Billy-billbob's mom calls him for dinner/kiss on the cheek/take out the trash/whatever. He hops on the mic and in his squeak mouse of a voice says "Hang on guys brb". Well okay no big deal. So I'm sitting there being voodooy and petting my zombie dogs. 2 minutes pass. Nothing. 5 minutes pass. He ain't back. 10, 15, 20, 30 MINUTES. And the kid ain't back and the other guys are waiting cause it's their party and they love Billy just as much as Billy likes being AFC. So........I said f**k tha police and pulled the entire room only to be accompanied by the chorus of Billy's prepubescent screams and his friends swearing as our toons are bombarded by demonic forces.

Moral of the story? I'm an impatient ass :wizard:

I took a pic too
Spoiler

(Also Billy is just a place holder name. But if you're "Billy" f you man!)

It's all the healer's fault. He didn't keep the heal up and got me killed. Any healer worth his weight in gold would have infinite mana and can keep up with Leeroy Jenkins my reckless rampage.

It's the support's fault. A real support player like Puppey would have infinite wards and have tonnes of gold.

It's all the medic's fault. A real medic could keep the whole team healed even if they are on the other side of the map with zombies gnawing at his shins.

EDIT: Also more recently: GTA V Heists. Hosted the mission, brought all the gear, did all the work, took the hardest positions, the rest demands 25% of the cut.

That seem right to you?

WoW during Lich King expansion

I'm on my hunter, which I knew how to play in PVE thanks to some raiding, hundreds of heroic dungeon runs, and soloing dungeons and raids. Anyway this one run we got a tank, a Draenei female warrior, who failed to properly take aggro on the first trash mobs leading to a few of us being stun-locked and unable to attack. The predictable result for me was a low DPS score for that fight. Tank immediately starts ripping into me (she addressed me as "huntard") with insults. I explained what happened only to receive further insults. Despite that episode, the tank improved her aggro maintenance and the rest of the run went smoothly without anyone saying a word. At the end of the run I was #1 damage and pointed that out. The tank finished bidding then left the group without saying a word.

Whenever I was playing my hunter in the great outdoors, I always had Humanoid tracking enabled so I could see other players on my minimap (switched to Beast mode if I suspected a shape-shifted druid nearby). Had to play a very defensive game because of kill thieves, quest interference, and other dick moves that community likes to participate in. I was very much into questing at the time so I experienced a lot of this as I attempted to complete all quests in each zone.

^What about loot ninjas. I never played WoW, but other MMOs have this annoying issue.

Lol "Kill thieves" though.

As a former WTank I have to ask what fight/raid was that Endurium?  Wrath warrior tanking wasn't all that bad. So that tank must have been piddly if they died on trash or was just having a rough night.

Also embrace your huntardness!  Hunters had the highest DPS streak for a long time, who cares what other people say.  ;)

People insulting God, angels, saints, heaven, all in one voice-chat channel, despite the rules that were supposed to be enforced by the officers. When I had told one smartass to please stop it, he shouted even more. It's people that has no future in human civil relations whatsoever.

I wish I could remember which dungeon that happened in (might have been one of the troll dungeons); I ran so many dungeons they're all a blur. Fortunately didn't have trouble with loot ninjas.

"Kill thieves" because at the time XP, loot, and quest fulfillment required that we get first hit on the mob in question. Troublemakers enjoyed coming in and hitting quest mobs with a quick attack (like Moonfire) then they'd taunt me. The better players I encountered offered to join up.

I didn't mention the everlasting player killers. They're almost estinct now, but they had found a new way to upset people: killing them with a knife while they use shotguns.

Oh it was a 5-man? lol. Unless it was Oculus fk that shiz.

I know what kill thieves are. I laughed because too many people cried KT in previous expacs. When they just weren't quick enough for my godlike skillz and dps :P It's always good when people offer to party up. I did that a lot. Fun times too.

For anyone who has enthusiastically played Metal Gear Online 2 you might have encountered Frothgar. If you didn't then you were lucky. Frothgar would cqc his teammates into oblivion in order to level up the skill, and horde the weaponry. The team he's  on would usually get wiped because everyone's either being choked out by him or had all their guns stolen.

I don't think adore is the term I'd use for them. Dpending on how I encounter them, cheaters are always going to be called [censored] (I have a rather large and creative vocabulary, most of which would see me banned for writing it here), bad players on the enemy team are either just taken as it is or appreciatively called boosters and for any really bad players that I have to play with on the same team are usually referred to as uninstall plz.

I traded my 360 away for a 3DS two years ago but I still remember being called a spook for wall bouncing my way to a kill in Gears of War 3 with the Gnasher. I didn't even know what the hell that was at first. I'm trying to figure out how the dude knew what race I was. I don't think I had my avatar as a profile pic at the time.

Wasted 10 K of AMMO. and 5 K of candy bar and waste all my body armor. Took me around 15 minutes to do .. Finish the mission and they all complain it took me forever.

Gta 5.

  • People who with fully upgraded vehicles lock you alone in a lobby so they can boost their win/loss stat.
  • Anyone who does any heist ever. Holy **** we waited 2 years for something that is possibly the most frustratingly awful thing Rockstar has ever made.
  • ****** with a tank killing everyone.
  • Anyone who uses a mic.

Swtor.

  • Got kicked for taking equipment someone wanted despite being a tank and it having a higher armor stat. It was a mid level flash point too so you replace equipment quickly anyways.
  • Hey let's keep leaving and rejoining a flashpoint so nobody can get past the boss. (god Swtor's group finder is so bad.
  • Anything ever involving the chat. So much sex talk. And anti muslim talk for some odd reason.

-Twilight gap

Halo Reach

-Armor lock abusers

-Rage quitters

-Powerweapon hos

-That moron in the Divine Imperium who insist on testing the honor guards. I am a Honor Guardsman Ultra, currently.

-Navcom.

-Campers

-Active camo users

-Assassination tower lobbies

-Assassination pictures

-The fact that this game has made me too damn soft and that I need to go play Halo 2 Anniversary when I get my xbox one this summer. I will get my ass destroyed.

-People who kick me from games for beating them.

-People who don't kick the morons.

-People who think their clan can destroy us. We steamroll them.

Those are the two games I play these days. I've got more but won't add them.

CQC was always the most fun time I had with Metal Gear MP

Peace Walker co-op is fun too!

I remember playing that one MP with my Metal Gear friends, some of the maps would actually have cardboard boxes laying around. Being the sneaky guy that I am I decided to become one with the environment and disguising myself as one those boxes, then take them down with CQC as they got close. It ended up making one of them paranoid enough to shoot all boxes he'd see during the next matches. Fun time!

This is from today.

After winning the first round in Duel of Champions, I got into the second and won it too.

The player moaned about my luck, saying my deck is bad and I didn't deserve to win.

At the end of the game, I had 15 hp out of 20, and he had 0 out of 20, so who's the boss?

p.s.

I won the third game and ranked 1st
