If it features in a compelling way, then sure. I hope it happens. As it stands now it is little more than armor tinting, pretty neat but no true purpose.

I just want to be able to fix the holes in the walls and roofs.

Yes! I agree with this 110%. It drives me crazy that even after you've beaten the game, there's no way to finish repairs on Skyhold (especially that huge hole in the wall on the way to the war table). It would be nice if we could clean up the rubble and the larger of the cobwebs as well.

Personally, I wouldn't want cobwebs and broken furniture/structures removed.

I think BioWare did a rather great job at making me feel represented as a member of the slob & klutz community.

They just promised full customizations. It ended a disappointment.

Apparently BioWare believes Cullen's room shouldn't be repaired, even when he is the Commander of an army supposedly equal to that of powerful nations.

Let's not forget that if we choose Skyhold Garden not one of the numerous religious people think to tidy up the chapel area with the Statue of Andraste. It's almost like you can't believe in the Maker and like gardening. Oh well. Another thing on the list Divine Cassandra needs to change.

We are the Inquisition. Carrots or death?

But I don't like carrots.

This woman is our new divine!

Yah, I would hope they would allow us to finish it off in future DLC.

All I want is upgrades that are relevant in terms of game play and/or story.

I was kinda disappointed that I fixed Skyhold up all well and good and then nobody came to try and demolish it. Feels like I baked a really delicious cake, and then my friend goes "sorry, I'm on a diet."

Yeah, makes you wonder if his headaches are actually from lyrium withdrawal or from the draft in his office.

after BE DLC I suddenly got 2 new thrones (Ferelden and Kirkwall Legacy).

maybe they'll add more.

And I really wished for something like in NWN where I could recruit officers and set patrols\trade and rebuild many of the buildings.

Perhaps whenever the last Inquisition dlc is ultimately released, and a really appropriate one would tie into the new Divine's coronation; we will also see Skyhold repaired/restored to it's full pristine glory??

Perhaps some future DLC will feature an attack on Skyhold. That would be sweet. Then building your defenses would actually be usefull.

This is what I'm still daring to hope. I kinda doubt it'll happen though. That's a lot of work, probably.

I just want them to make better use of what is already there. Like the rooms feeding off from the Kitchen. Never used.

Your quarters. A couple of cutscenes aside, never used.

The Blacksmith. Serves no purpose.

Library. Likewise.

I would very much like to finish the repairs to Skyhold. The walls in the hallway going to the WT really bother me.

Usually by the end of the game, I've got more quarries and logging camps than I can possibly use, several times over. With so many available, it seems like they should serve a purpose...like fixing up Skyhold, perhaps? ;)

It's a shame that it's so big, but yet, there are so many places that never get used or appreciated. Or fixed up.

I'm also hoping for a future DLC.

The repairs progress as each main quest is completed, and I think that by the end of the game, the day after Cory's defeat, Skyhold should be fully repaired and ready for personal customization, and since I play JOH after the main quest is over and collect all the shards, it would give me even more to do.

Dorian hangs out in it. That's where you drop off research items.

There's also another singular room filled with books within Skyhold. It's a bit cobwebby, though.

That underground library was creepy and had quite a few codex entries, but you'd think people would have at least been there too. The bottom level is so empty. I love our bottle storage area though lol and the vault. I also saw many nice bedrooms untouched too, probably for the noble guests.
