I try to revive people whenever I can, but sometimes you just can't make it. It's often worth it to risk taking damage if you can revive a Keeper, etc, so they can barrier everyone again. Also try to keep in mind whether you have Guardian Spirit off-cooldown, because if you do, you can be practically invincible while you revive someone, you'll just lose all your health, but then you can barrier the both of you. Lastly, I try to gauge how much time is left before they die, so I might take on a few enemies then run to them just before they bleed out and get them.

I revive when I think I can do so in relative safety. That can mean killing nearby enemies, putting them to sleep, casting barrier/fade cloak, getting to cover, etc. If I do end up getting attacked I'm willing to abandon the attempt in order to save myself, but I'm willing to die to get a revive off if I think that player has a better chance of salvaging the match than I do. I don't go too far out of my way to revive people who run off on their own. If I can't save someone I don't sweat it because they'll be up again when we open the next door.

I realized I can't really answer that for it's not always a rational decision.

I'd be lying to you and to myself if I said that I always revive ppl when I should, instead of jumping into mobs reviving and dying myself.

Just don't hurry up to revive blindly,m make sure everything is safe, if you can cant be helped, they can always revive at next Stage.
The only time i can revive people on any circumstance of state and whoever is attacking me, is if i am a Keeper (full barrier), or a Lego under Walking Fortress... well now have to be quicker.

It's pretty kit/level dependent with me.With high level characters and tanks I'll revive pretty much immediately, but with the squishier characters I try to make sure I'm not just going to trade spots on the ground,or share a dirt nap with a teammate.

I'll make sure I'm safe before reviving or i'll cast barrier or generate a barrier/guard/stealth when I rez.
Or if I don't like them I'll teabag them till they die... I prefer this option to others.
Especially if they ran ahead of the team and died, I'll run across the map like a hero and then teabag them to death.

- If it's safe to do so, do so.
- If there is only one person and it is not safe to do so (ran ahead, surrounded, ETC), get to them if and/or when it is safe to do so. Safety first!
- If there are multiple people and its safe to do so, first revive the person who can stand the most punishment or can supply a buff or diversion. Examples include Defensive Mages (Keeper, Virtuoso, Elementalists with Barrier), and tanks (Arcane Warrior, Katari, Legionniare.).
- If there are multiple people and it's not safe to do so, try reviving around a corner if you absolutely need to.
- If the wave is over and someone is down, use the door to revive them without it counting towards their revive count (unless they removed this)
- If everyone else is down and it is not safe to do so, retreat and find the person farthest away from the action. if you are low on health and cannot heal, go for the farthest person and try to revive with some form of cover. If you are a ranged fighter flee the zone as best as you can and attack from range until it is safe to move back in. Have your teammates follow after you as best as they can to reduce travel time and increase chances of revival.
- If you are down and you are not in a position to be revived safely, move to a location that either has cover from ranged attacks, or is a decent distance from the fighter and around a corner, to provide protection from both melee and ranged attackers (melees having to take a little more time to get to you due to the corner.)
- If there is a hole you can fall down and be teleported back to the zone start (Fereldan Castle Only) use it if you can reach it, otherwise see above.
- If you are about to go down and have access to DoT abilities that work after you go down, and you have passives or rings that give you health on a kill- get them ready! You can recover health and get back up! Characters like the Necromancer are great at this!
- Don't worry. Be Happy.

If the player that is down will give your team a better chance to advance, pick them up, even if it means sacrificing yourself. An example would be if you are the last player left with a teammate down. You know you couldn't solo the rest of the mobs, but you know they at least have a chance...go for it!

Yeah, if I'm the last one standing and I know I won't be able to use guard/stealth to kill the rest of the mobs I try to res our Keeper or barrier Elementalist. Then, if I die, I hope that they will use their second chance for something productive, like barriering and getting the hell out of dodge. Or maybe even pick me up again, if they think they can handle it.
But I definitely should look over my resurrection behavior. This is, hands down, the most common cause of death for me. The impulse to stop and help is just so strong, I almost need to give myself a slap across the face and be like "NO! Bad player!" to stop myself from running in and try to res a party member crawling around under a spinning RTC.

If you are a barrier class throw up full barrier first
If you are Lego throw up walking fortress first
If your not getting nailed by archers etc....
> Barrier class
> Duelist/AW
> Everyone Else
> Black French Guy ***relax, before I get reported, it's Luda and he's a friend***
> Crazy American Korean guy after 10 teabags
> Drunk Kansas guy ***if he hasn't crawled away fast cause he knows I'm on his ass for funny screenshots (again)***
> Necromancer ***well they should enjoy being dead?***
> The level 1
