I guess you are right, but to me if EA wanted to generate more hype during their financial forecast for their current year they would have added Mass Effect to listing Mirror's Edge 2, a new Need for Speed game, or a new Plants vs Zombies game. They do leave the caveat there for "publicly announced titles", but at the same time a new Mass Effect game has been announced and they have been talking about it publicly albeit very little.

Without a title it's not really announced. It could be set for a 2015 release for all we know.
Yeah, its why I gave the concession. I inserted too much of my own opinion of EA wanting to try and capitalize on BioWare due to the success of Dragon Age: Inquisition, for it seems to have been a good launch especially compared to a lot of EA's recent non-sports titles.

The year, Is 2027....
That's not confirmed yet.
Who says they would? Interstellar communication is difficult in the ME universe so intergalactic communication would probably be impossible.
Travelling at hundreds of times the speed of light in a frigate and being shot from one side of the galaxy to the other in seconds is "low" sci-fi?
1) Thank the Goddess D:
2) ....true.
3) Well...relatively
Michio Kaku says there's no reason for mass effect physics not to exist ^^
I'm thinking March 2017.
2017 seems too far off.
Development of ME: Next started in 2012. I can't see EA giving Bioware 5 years.
