You're a bad man.
King of Fereldan?
I think not.
You're a bad man.
They've had genuinely good characters. Even now with their new attitude towards characters there is one or two genuinely good characters per game, but not nearly as much as there used to be.
Josephine, Cullen, Dorian, Cole, Varric, Cassandra? Even the companions with darker pasts, like Iron Bull the spy and pacifier, come across as more altruistic and held-together than previous DA characters. I thought Inquisition was the game where they lost some of the moral ambiguity (while honing it into a fine craft with Solas and the like). Even Morrigan comes across as well-intentioned and nice. ![]()
But again, she wanted to raise an army of dragons... no matter how honest and kind she was to him, that sounds incredibly dangerous and suspect?
Alistair is a former Templar, is suspicious of any magic that's not practiced outside of a Circle and likely fears the destruction that unleashing a horde of such beasts could cause to Thedas? Honestly, his reaction was pretty understandable all told and very much in-character for him?
Remeber when he fights Loghain in the duel and takes his head, without even accepting any kind of surrender and not even allowing Riordan to bring up the possibility of recruiting him? As well as how angry he is if during your duel, you accept his surrender, choose to spare Loghain and recruit him into the Warden's ranks? He rage-quits and then has a massive tirade at you later about it?
Alistair does have a ruthless, more dark side to him, that's not new. He's not always a cuddly teddy bear that likes cheese.
He's had years to hone his pent-up rage, the poor lad. ![]()
That being said, I will never understand people who don't support bringing an an army of dragons into the world.
They're dragons. ![]()
every despot has to start somewhere.King of Fereldan?

I can imagineI thought it was amusing
Splattering her in his blood in the process.
Just brilliant, Alistair. How can I let her keep the throne now?
I know that you can't have him marry Anora and swing the sword, but you'd think that Anora would still resent him a little for giving that little nod to the Warden as the go-ahead to execute him? If anything, it's going to make the wedding night a little weird?
Ah heck, the entire wedding is going to be weird and awkward? Imagine how the rehearsals would be?
Alistair: So, Anora, traditionally brides are walked down the aisle by their faaaa... aah... ahaha... erm....
Anora: *Glares*
Alistair: Bridesmaids! You need them? How about that one, whatsername, Ser Cauthri... and we killed her as well, didn't we?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I really like Yavana and thought her plan to wake the dragons actually was had some merit to it (provided she didn't turn them loose on anyone) and I would have liked to have seen her survive, since she provided a nice foil to Morrigan?
I don't like how Alistair handled the situation or like that he killed her, but I do see it as being very much something he'd do?
King of Fereldan?
I think not.
This whole dragon fascination is turning into a rather disturbing fetish.
Korlgrim didn't have a dragon. He was worshiping a lazy dragon who was smart enough to take advantage of their fanaticism. They offered protection for her harem and eggs, and spared her kin the trouble to go hunting for food.

I like dinosaurs doesn't mean I think emulating Jurassic Park is a good idea.

All I can think of is the sky infested with dragons, pooping all over the place and unfortunate souls getting crushed under its weight. Bad way to go.
I'm curious as to what would happen if all the dragons returned like birds in the sky
Smart magisters would catch a few, develop dragon control magic, then tame them and ride them into battle against all who oppose the great Tevinter empire!

A disaster for when drying your clothes outdoors.
Think of the stains. Nothing will get that out.
we know beast control is possible through assumly extremely rare power or blood magic so it's possibleSmart magisters would catch a few, develop dragon control magic, then tame them and ride them into battle against all who oppose the great Tevinter empire!

Everything is possible, imagination and dedication/passion is the limit. Magic is amazing.
I'd be more concerned with it hits meA disaster for when drying your clothes outdoors.

And they would turn into a kind of almighty wizards nation, just like the Alin from RoL, I would like to see itSmart magisters would catch a few, develop dragon control magic, then tame them and ride them into battle against all who oppose the great Tevinter empire!

You can't predict which way a liquid is going to spatter, he can't be blamed for that.
Well, this has come to be a sandstorm, isn't it? That master warden z is kind of trying to insult or say that is nice to kill everything the others mention, even a mabari? i didn't see that one coming. ![]()

I dunno when or why do you think it has become a fetish? but if you dislike that much, then i'm curious why you play a game called dragon age or why you still posting here?
I like dinosaurs doesn't mean I think emulating Jurassic Park is a good idea.
given that dragons were never truly extinct, it is not like jurassic park, its more like an elephant or a rhino, they are dangerous if you approach to their territory, but that is not exactly any justification to hunt them imo.

that sounds interesting, and the tevinters are not so mistrusted of magic.
