I'm still trying to comprehend how Disney equates to child-friendly and bubbly bright with no mature content like some people are saying. It's like "family-friendly" is the same as "for children ages 6+", totally ignoring that adults tend to be a part of families as well.
Pulp Fiction was distributed by Miramax, which is a subsidiary of Disney. Thus, one could argue that Pulp Fiction (AKA the movie where Bruce Willis is gagged and sexually assaulted by a man in a gimp suit and Ving Rhames is raped by that same gimp) is a Disney movie, at least by association. Likewise, Marvel is owned by Disney. Thus, one can argue that the Daredevil series on Netflix (AKA the show where Vincent d'Onofrio decapitates Gideon Emery with a car door) is a Disney series. Because gimp suits, rape, and decapitation are all bubbly bright and child-friendly.
Obviously there is too much color in those movies, I only watch black and white movies for someone as hardcore as myself. ![]()
