Warframe is quite good on the technical level. The art style is pretty cool as well, shame the grind is a bit excessive.
Too bad that wasn't Dark Sector like it should've been way back when. Almost wasted potential but Digital Extreme salvaged its ideas down the road.
SWTOR..said no one ever.
You mean the KOTOR spin-off w/ Coop, right?
-Path of Exile is basically a free game. The only paid elements are cosmetic or stuff like stash space, and you have lots of stash space by default. Last time I played anyway. Definitely worth checking out for anyone who likes action RPGs, it's both the bet and most generous F2P game out there.
-Hearthstone is fun in small doses, but is not very newbie-friendly at this point; you need to play a lot to unlock the Adventures that have several must-have cards, or pay 50$ for both of them, plus the vast amount of cards coming out of packs you need to make good decks. The game can also be quite frustrating, especially because of the RNG. In fact, it's potentially more fun to watch than play. I'd suggest hitting up some streamers or youtubers.
-Warframe is a fun third-person FPS with melee combat featuring space ninjas laying waste to armies of foes. However, it's very grindy, and the F2P model is not generous, requiring a lot of farming and waiting 3 days before you can even unlock additional characters or weapons (if you don't just buy 'em of course).
-World of Tanks is the grindiest game this side of Korean MMOs. If you want anything done, expect to play 1000+ games of 5-10 minutes before you can get to the stuff you actually want (such as Tiger tanks), and even if you buy gold with real money you still need to grind. i ended up stopping, but it can be fun still. The community is awful however, with several performance-evaluating mods floating around and anyone with less than 5000 games (not a typo) is basically considered a noob.
-I dunno how Team Fortress 2 fares today, but a few years back I played it a lot and had loads of fun. Definitely a classic game.
I didn't like Warframe very much, mostly because the level design felt so repetitive and uninspired.
Aren't Doom 1 and 2 FTP now? and you can create your favorite levels with its editor.
Lol I actually enjoyed SWOTR tbh :x Whoops
Otherwise I think Defiance is pretty underrated. I mean it's not amazing but amusing nonetheless. (I should mention that I am a fan of the show too, so maybe that's why it's fun O.o)
War Thunder - MMO/single player/co-op simulation WWII combat. Pretty decent if you're into war games involving flying war machines.
AdVenture Capitalist - 2D single player indie point&click causal game about capitalism. Basically a game that helps you understand how rich CEOs feel, but then you realize that it's just a game thus you feel poor as s**t. Then you develop virtual greed.
Tera - Fantasy MMORPG. Mostly like the typical MMORPG; boring quests and weird community (like WoW), but I hear good stuff from it if you're into MMOs/MMORPGs.
Heroes & Generals - MMO/multiplayer WWII FPS game.
Solitaire. You don't even have to be online to play it!!
wasted potential
is pretty much how the one can describe waframe.

So one needs to download its 6-8 GB stuff first.
But how do you play? Is there anything to pay? How fast of internet connection it requires?

usually just stick to one game mode, sorry, it's been awhile, either team spawns at either one or two main spawn points on a map. Capture zones are located in the middle of the map, drive your tank to the zone and just wait around till the flag is yours, while keeping enemy tanks away as well. If you die, go all the way back to your main spawn point and repeat.
Nope, not unless you want to buy some DLC tanks or more coins and such, and the last last one I have no idea. But mines pretty horrible, and I was able to play it moderately well.
Heroine's Quest isn't so much free to play as it is just plain free, but it's a good game. It's a hybrid between an RPG and point-and-click adventure, similar to the old Quest for Glory series (with basically the same icon interface to boot). It doesn't quite have the humor and charm of its inspiration, but the art style and design are on point so far; I haven't completed it yet, but I'm enjoying it so far.

add to this.
basically you will need to spend real money only for top tier tanks. because it's not enough just to unlock a vehicle, you also need to unlock upgrades.
and this is where problem starts: if you take some critical damage like tracks damage or engine damage or main gun damage - you have repair it, in order to participate in combat.
and repair time for high level tanks is enormous. like 2 minutes minimum. so in short - your vehicle will be destroyed in that time.
so cash you spend to buy these upgrades for top tier vehicles. also it's good thing to buy some experience points for your tank crew. faster repair, faster reload etc. is a big deal.
If you will consider to invest some money into this game, i sugget you to buy a package with low level tank for money. for example i bought T-34-57 year 1943. it's a premium tank, and with it you should be able to level everything faster. i believe you may buy similar vehicles for each nation.
also: game developer from time to time making some sorts of quiz with a reward in a form of free premium vehicles like planes or tanks.
one more thing: warthunder is a game that requires good memory and good undestanding of the process of playing. how to position your tank in order to minimize the risks, in what part of enemy tank to fire in order to inflict maximum damage etc. etc. this game you should play with your brain, not with the spine.
