They don't seem to do it every time without fail, but quite often when I CTD the last thing I saw or heard was the thunder from Chain Lightning or Lightning Cage (upgraded). Last time someone brought AW into the match and half the team crashed from his Chain Lightning (luckily not me), got a host migration and only one other person was left in-game.
So yes, elven mages are a danger to the PC community. Shun them, or at least their lightning spells as to not create a nuisance for your teammates.

You might want to try turning your graphics down some.I'm not sure about your system,but MP can be pretty taxing on some graphics cards.

I've seen this happen on PS4.
It is usually when there is a static cage up and you chain lightning something in the the cage and it bounces to someone outside the cage and there is Zither frame rate lag present.
It's weird because it turns into super lightning and there's like a 100 bolts of lightning jumping everywhere.

This happens on PC too. Even before Zither I saw it appear sometime, and, although I can't be sure, it seemed to do awesome amounts of damage in the area it struck, cause a lot of stuff died pretty soon, but there were no damage numbers.it turns into super lightning and there's like a 100 bolts of lightning jumping everywhere.
