My phone is 5.5", I read ebooks and comics on that sometimes and on my laptop, but I also like paper books. I do go to the local library a lot also and it's easier to check out most stuff in analogue format at the moment. I hear what you're saying though, I'm not disagreeing.

What most people have said RHA is usually superior, but HC is useful for accuracy/stability and for some specific circumstances.

My scientific wisdom on hard? Well, there's still uses for it. Like in my yesterday match against Geth on Goddess hanging out in the LZ with my fellow pugs as DemoGirl, where I was in constant hard cover and only coming out to stagger the living daylights out of those Geth with a few Arc & Homing Nades (look ma! No lousy manifest weapons needed!). But if I were using something like the Claymoar, then yeah, that would of been perfect for hard cover too.
If anyone really wants to play only the soft cover game, play Volus (Merc), because all of a sudden all hard cover turns into soft cover. ... Or pretent to be a kitten and start abusing your hard cover abilities... think I'll go outside and try this out?

Usually, yes. But still enough reasons & situations for some hardcover in this game.
I use both. It's weapon dependent how much I use either one though in some cases.
I'd say Talon pistol benefits from hard cover more than any weapon in game.
With charge weapons I'll usually avoid hard cover like a plague.
Like most of the responses, I rarely spend time in hard cover deliberately. Grabs, Incoming Butt Lazers and Banshee Warp balls would be the main reasons. Rio, Ghost and London escorts make a lot of sense at times. No one else has mentioned it, so I'll just add that the (Cryo) Falcon is great fun from hard cover on low or no-Fitness characters, particularly the Human Engineer.

Not sure how many know this, but hard cover prevents you from getting staggered by rocket troopers, prime drones, hunters, etc.
